Actually one of the reasons I came back to post is for the BFL SC order wait list (since I need to add myself to the list): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=89685.0

If I could get a whitelist there, that'd be great!

EDIT: Also, I used to be a full member here...since June 2011 actually, and I've posted here before. Maybe because it's been a while since I've logged in everything got reset to 0?

I wouldnt mind being whitelisted if its ok - I have been lurking here for ages but took too long to register and only just realised I would have to create "fluff" posts in the noob section to get out of the spam den we're forced to play in.

Feel free to look up my IP, I've been reading all day Smiley

I registered to contribute to the developmental efforts. However, rummaging through this subforum for 4 consecutive hours is time not well spent.

Hey

From my former posts you can see that I'm serious and that I'm not going to post much rant.

I want to be the first to congratulate BFL_Josh (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=97269.40) on his new job in BFL, since he starts his job today, Monday the 13.th of August.

I have also bought a BF Single, and want to be able to communicate with others who have bought the product in this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77796.720

So I'd appreciate if you could let me in.

Thank you.

Edit:
I'm also using the default Bitcoin wallet, have Mt Gox account set up with payment system, a website accepting Bitcoin, so I think I have above average understanding of Bitcoin.
You seem to know your stuff! Whitelisted.

Please whitelist.  Been working with BTC since early '11.  Need to get into LTC discussions.

Thanks.
No, you spammed to try getting out. We don't like that.
Hi, I've made 11 posts but I don't meet the 4 hour requirement. Can I get whitelisted?
It would be nice if we saw more than one-sentence posts from you.
Hey, I don't meet either of the requirements but I want to buy broken/non functioning gpus for parts in marketplace... Can I be whitelisted too?
You can PM the seller.

Wow.  Never?  ...really?  Just trying to do some business here.  You really need to drop the ego trip.  Fucking glad I learned some social skills along with computer skills.  Otherwise I might have been shoved in a locker a few times and I might have aspired to be an internet forum moderator so I could powertrip.  I'm going to create another account and use a vpn, so I'm going to get in.  You're still a shitbird.

What if I am only interested in writing in a language specific section? This rule forces me to write garbage in English just to be allowed to talk with other users in my mother language.

Posts like this BTW

No it doesn't. The foreign language forums are exempt from the limitation.
You can post in Newbies AND all the foreign language boards.

Hi.

I would really like to get access to the rest of the forum, because I've been lurking this site for a few months and don't really see the point in discussing newbie topics. I have an account on bitcoin.de with silver trusted level (hell yeah).

Thanks for consideration.

Hello, I'd like to request to be whitelisted. On the forum I am "crazy_rabbit" but I have started a Bitcoin Service in the CZech Republic (BuyBTC.cz) and I would like to have an official user for official updates from BuyBTC.cz and so I can maintain a thread about the company. I'd like to do this without using my "crazy_rabbit" account so I don't confuse customers.

You will see that my other handle "crazy_rabbit" has already made a post in the market place about BuyBTC.cz and the email for this user is "support@buybtc.cz"

thanks!

I'm long time lurker, and as I usually stain myself not to participate unless I have something to add to the discussion. The crash today pushed me to give some input. As I am one of the stock holders of this venture: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.160

I do not know how do you do this, you transfer this message to that post or does someone speaks behalf of me, I really do not care either way.

The message goes":
Correct if I'm wrong, but AFAIK the IPO closed early due target was reached when it hit 15K BTC. Shouldn't there still be 50K of stocks available, that never were released? Because if that is the case the BTC price can go down to $6 and still we had $120 to pay the bills?"

Thanks.

I read the Electrum source code with the intention of helping robkohr in the following thread, foolishly forgetting my newbie restrictions.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=101733.0

I figured I'd post here to speed things up although I'll gain whitelist soon enough by waiting.

Sure - Maybe someone can help me with a little tech issue I'm having with DiabloMiner.

I'm not that familiar with maven, so please be kind.

I'm running Ubuntu Server 12.04. I d/l DiabloMiner from github. I type mvn in the Diablo directory, and I get:

[WARNING] Some problems were encountered while building the effective model for com.diablominer:DiabloMiner:jar:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT
[WARNING] 'build.plugins.plugin.version' for org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-compiler-plugin is missing. @ line 57, column 15
[WARNING] 'build.plugins.plugin.version' for org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-jar-plugin is missing. @ line 134, column 15

don't know if it's useful, but my JAVA_HOME variable is /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.7.0-openjdk-i386

Cheers!

Still waiting.  I've also spent a whole lot more than 4 hours in here and for some reason my time only says 1 hour 10 minutes!
