It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Hi, I'd like to be able to leave the newbie section...  I have 5 posts already, but I don't appear to have been logged in for 4 hours yet.

I'm very computer literate and don't have any questions or issues that need resolving, however I would like to post on the LTC/YAC exchnage thread.  (I have a few YAC to sell)

Much thanks!

It appears no one ones to bail me out just yet.  It appears I still have 2 hours to go.  Perhaps this will help my case...

I have plenty of knowledge of BTC and all the altcoins.  I wrote my own software to mine whatever is most profitable.

I have holdings in LTC, BTC, TRC, PPC, NVC, NMC, FTC, FRC, MNX, CNC, YAC and RYC as well.

I picked up a 7950 to mine with, and it's currently about half paid off after 30 days.  At that point I'm going to expand my mining operation.  It'd be nice to go with ASICs but they are currently too expensive, except for BFL and they are the most trustworthy these days!  Those AM USB mining sticks look pretty neat but there is no way I'd pay 2.99BTC for them!

Surely the above is enough to prove I'm not some lame newbie and have been lurking here for a long time...

I'd like to get whitelisted please. There is a group buy thread going on for the ASIC Erupter USB that I'd like to participate in. There is a limited time when they are accepting payments, so it's a little time sensitive.

Thanks!

I'd like to be whitelisted please, I've been browsing for a while yet my timer really doesn't go up for some reason (says 2hrs 43 mins yet I've been looking around since I got to work 3hrs ago!).

There's a thread relating to my video cards in my gpu miner that I want to discuss with the author as I'm having the same problems they encountered.

I'd appreciate getting busted out of here.

I'm a long-time lurker, first time (wanting) to contribute to discussion.

Back in the day I spent a couple days mining BTC (I can't remember what the value was in 2009ish). If I knew then what I know now, I obviously would have stuck with it.
The emergence of alt coins has my curiosity piqued, especially the position LTC's in.

Anyway, that's it Smiley

Requesting a whitelist pass please, I've been mining since near the beginning of bitcoin with 5850/5870's on pcie risers for then last year or two and have got quite a stash built up over time, Im after a pass as I'm looking into getting to be part of the Avalon asic chip group buys, very interested in the one from Romania although he's struggling to get orders up to the 10k he's after, I understand about the Avalon specs being published this month and boards getting closer to fruition from the help of forum members bkk etc. the Klondike 16 is also a design I would like to invest in if possible.

Anyway, haven't got much more to ask, I'm not a spammer and run my own studio from the uk (Www.gainrecording.co.uk)

Cheers guys.

I would like to post on other parts of the forum - but specifically I would like to bid on AsicMiner shares. I will use escrow service (i.e. John K.) so there should be no issues for the buyer.

I would like to be whitelisted as well. I've figured out how to resolve a bug on the Bitcoin wiki, and want to collect the bounty posted in the Development board Smiley.
