in my country bitcoin is not yet so much popular, i think yet 0.01 percent people may know about bitcoin and the rest of the people will have no idea about bitcoin. i think it will take such a long time so that people get knowledge about bitcoin. but still hopeful that a time will come when most of the people will be using bitcoin instead of fiat currency.

As far as I know  bitcoin become popular in our country due to an online investment . And consequently became popular with most especially lovers to invest so they recognized it. And until now the no. 1 source of income to investors in our country especially the traders of altcoins . If i'm not mistaken 2014  start bitcoin here.

It will depend on population of country and the percentage of people aware about the bitcoins, if people are tech friendly and believe in innovative technology then they will surely start using it.
Indeed, those who like technology and innovation are more likely to use bitcoin.

You are definitely right dude, That's why poor are the country who are lack of knowledge in the technology. Sorry no offense I'm just saying here in this topic my perception.

I am from a third world country and i am using bitcoins.......Why? because there is no PayPal in my country at the moment..... Angry

It doesn't matter if you are educated or not. It depends on services available in countries.

Fees is also a huge factor.

paypal compare with bitcoin it huge of fees and more hassle
you are right, paypal has a lot of huge fees and i think it is way better to use bitcoins in order to avoid banking and stuff like that

That's nice.
In our country, bitcoin is somewhat popular because there are already some small exchangers existing.
However, generally it isn't really that much popular because as far as I'm concerned, there aren't any businesses or shops that accept bitcoins just yet. It would be convenient if there were a lot of them though.

For me here in my country bitcoin now is popular because my friends and friends of their friends are using bitcoin now they say that it easy to use than banks, they can also invest , trade , or do some gambling activities without fee's or intering in some casinos and we can now also pay our monthly bill , water bills, send money anywhere from the philippines and many more futures to come ^_^
That is very exciting to hear that across the world bitcoin is being adopted. I also use bitcoin a lot in my country and I
think it has been growing in popularity immensely. I see so many stores putting up signs saying, “ Now accepting bitcoin!” It’s really amazing.

The most lucky thing for me is that my government is not against bitcoin so if there are not much people yet, then it is sure that after some time there will be a large number of people having bitcoin in my country.

In my country it is just the start of bitcoin but as much of the citizens are well educated they understand well about that as soon as possible and they do not then afraid to invest their money in there , our government is neutral to bitcoin and because of that we do not face any issue with that.

Why don't you put your question in the OP (Original Post)?
Edit the OP and also don't forget to change the title too.

I think there  are many people who must be using it but don't prefer to disclose it as there are many people who don't wish that others should take benefits from bitcoins.

That doesn't make any sense, because we need more people to rise up Bitcoin price. If more people are using it then the price will go up, but if we don't invite more people then the price will stay it will maybe even go down because the users are bored because there is no increase.

Nobody knows about bitcoin in real life. If you could go and ask to 10 people, you would find out that 0 would know what bitcoin is. So its like 1 in 100 people maybe have heard of it.

Bitcoin isn't so popular till now in our country, it's still used by small number of people here and especially the community interested about working online, but not known as much as it have to be.
yeah I think so. environment in my house even possible in my country are still very few people who know bitcoin let alone use it
so do not be surprised if we were still difficulties in using bitcoin completely.

in my country indonesia had much to know about bitcoin but in my country can not accept bitcoin except through bitcoin.co.id address.
but I believe society will slowly getting used to the bitcoin in the future  Smiley
I also come from Indonesia. bitcoin in our country that are not yet so popular in our country even though there are already local exchange where you can easily convert bitcoin to fiat. but despite that bitcoin is still not so well known in the community and it will probably take a long time to  bitcoin be popular

Yes, totally correct . there is no regulation governing the bitcoin. bitcoin still can not be controlled by the government. government apparently still reluctant to rein in bitcoin.
