how bitcoin is popular in your country ?

Its very popular among computer geeks and gamblers here. Oldschool stock buyers know its existence but they don't care about it much. They still think paper money and gold as the safe choices and i guess i am with them.

People will definitely choose to go with paper money till they are not introduced to bitcoins, as they don't have any other option at a moment so they will continue using paper money and cards.

I'm living within the US right now and I would say that Bitcoin is probably less openly popular here (at least in my area) then it is in Europe or other similar places, however I occasionally see the odd shop with a sticker on their window saying they accept Bitcoin. Do they make a lot from that service? Probably not.

Bitcoin is gaining popularity but its not up to the mark, bitcoin need promotional events at higher level which can draw attention of many people or else it will be an slow process for adoption.

In our country India, Bitcoin is now getting popular in major cities. since india is the second largest country in world, it is a long journey for bitcoin to reach people all over. people use bitcoin as an additional earning. to replace US in using bitcoins, its far away to even think about it now.

Despite being second largest most populated country,we are lagging behind by many smaller nations when it comes to bitcoin adoption.No wonder I haven't seen any good bitcoin related start coming up in India.Still a long way to go

I don't see the profession to be a hindrance to bitcoin adoption.  If I have fund I can try to be  innovative in a sense that this farmer can and will use bitcoin in their daily lives.  Education is not  that expensive if in the future you can gain more profit from it.  A point of view of some entrepreneur that i happen to know.

Bitcoin is not so popular in my country and not even 1% of the population knows and engaging bitcoin.  But even so the current bitcoin users are enough for escrow sites to buy our bitcoins in exchange to cash. Hope bitcoin will become more popular but scams and schemes are destroying bitcoins reputation that's why some are allergic to bitcoins.

maybe it is because bitcoin is banned in India, of course if you are living there you should know this better than me. i have only read the news about it on coindesk.com
and being illegal and threatening to imprison people usually prevents them from adopting something new.

not really i think in my place bitcoin is started to be known as many of my kababayans now already joined this forums and from time to time they keep on motivating our country men to invest with this currency in fact we do have now some support from local website which already accepting payment for bills and some shopping online.

so far in my country bitcoin is not yet popular but it growing time to time.I think it needs more exposure to the people. and educate them on how bitcoin can help they daily lives.maybe change the way to use a digital currency.

yap some people maybe depression with bitcoin because the place where they invest bitcoin has collapse and i'm sure cloud mining site take a big part of this bad news about don't invest your money in bitcoin if you dont want get scam.

Rather than trying to convince people to 'invest' in bitcoin, they should be shown the uses of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not just a viable long-term investment.

in my country bitcoin need so much effort to introduce it in the people, here bitcoin is not still so much popular and very little number of people may know about bitcoin, in such countries where bicoin is not so much popular, it is the duty of those people who know about bitcoin there to introduce it to other people so that they can also start using bitcoin.

In the contrary, I'm happy with the current trend of bitcoin right now in our area.
I had introduce it to my friends and they accepted it wholeheartedly. All kinds of people, even girls use it.

Even though Nicosia University was the first ever university t accept bitcoin and they have a crypto currency course, the locals here don't trust it due to a company that created bitcoin debit cards here ran off with everyone's funds so they lost faith in it, just because of one scammer.

Well I think it depends on the country you live in, there are some countries prohibit bitcoin and the government does not allow people to use bitcoin so in those countries, it seems to be that bitcoin will not have any place, but to most of the developed countries they promote bitcoin so bitcoin is something very usual and familiar to the people of those countries.

Well I think it depends on the country you live in, there are some countries prohibit bitcoin and the government does not allow people to use bitcoin so in those countries, it seems to be that bitcoin will not have any place, but to most of the developed countries they promote bitcoin so bitcoin is something very usual and familiar to the people of those countries.

Bitcoin is familiar in most of the countries but how many actual users are using bitcoins, and I am sure that its not as per the expectation level and very few of them are using it.

In our country bitcoin is popular in online selling peer to peer, and some of the online shops accept bitcoin, but the original price of the item is too low and when you buy gadgets in that online shop is too much price. I understand if they dont want to loose their funds but it is too much.
