There are some people that do know Bitcoin in my country but I believe that more people do not know what Bitcoin is and that is just because it is not as popular where I am from.
Maybe that it is going to change with in the future but I am not sure about it.
I think in almost every country, Bitcoin isn't that popular. Some people might have heard about it, but didn't get their attention or they weren't just interested about it. To be honest, those crazy trends and dumb dance moves are far more popular than Bitcoin. People are just so pre-occupied by the 'trend' and are so busy looking for attention and validation from other people that they can't even afford to pay attention if something like Bitcoin comes up as a topic.

Bitcoin, in general, is not yet a popular currency, partly because of its decentralized nature. There is no central body that pushes it towards being generally known by the public. The only ones who know a lot about the product itself are the people who use it, which is another statistic that's hard to figure out. Compare it to the dollar, where almost everybody knows about it and is being used for transactions everywhere.

Same with my situation. Although there are several of us from our country who knows bitcoin, there sre still many who has no idea what is it all about.

But I believe that the popularity of bitcoin will surely hit the road and it will become known to more people.

yes , every person comes in bitcoin only after seeing the profit makes by other persons and with this greediness he enters the bitcoin world .
same with me and also with my friends .
now i think there is something need of advertising the bitcoin in better way . like giving some free satoshi after resiter in wallet of bitcoin .

Im in philippines, as far as i know a rate of 25% population here are involved in bitcoin industry. There are only few bitcoin users in my country. Well,  the popularity of bitcoin will always depends on they country. There are few countries that bitcoin users are some. Maybe because, people out there are spreading the good news of bitcoin that can bring to peoples life.
are you sure about this mate? .25% for yes but 25% of our population? maybe we can conquer btc and i wonder why only coins.ph cater btc here if we already have that numbers, so to disagree with you buds just be true to our selves. good luck

25% seem impossible. even USA i also do not think it come with 25% . It could be true with small area like a town, or a city
USA is one of the biggest population when we are talking about bitcoins there are so much people who really uses there and you know that some of store are accepting bitcoin as a payments ? then see it . and yes maybe less users in the philippines because it is small country.

No doubt that US would be having more users of bitcoin in compare to other countries but there still many  people in US who are not aware about it so its not only about the high population, to use bitcoins or not will depend on the mentality of people.

Bitcoin is not so very popular in my country not alot of people have heard of it and nobody really uses it.
but it can grow easily if some stuff happens like big markets adopt it and big super markets then mass adoption will happen and more people would use it causing it to become more popular in my country too. Other then that nobody really using it.
yeah bitcoin is currently not so popular in the country but bitcoin is constantly evolving and it is evidenced by the increase in bitcoin users,
I'm sure it will be sustained and I'll see bitcoin become popular in a few years to come

It's not at all. I found only one person until now that knew what Bitcoin was, and he never used it. We've got under 10 online shops and services where you can pay in Bitcoin, but almost nobody knows what it is.

And mostly, the ones who are using it are those who have been around internet for earning money from a time and they came to know about it there because there isn't any special places or things which can promote bitcoin to the public which can cause an adoption between them, though now a days people are coming to know about it from other people but before some time it was not the case.

Exactly there can be many users even around us but we are not aware about it, as sometimes we hesitate in speaking up and same goes with the opposite person and there is no way to find how many of them are actually using it.

Just like in my country, I am thinking that we are just hundreds but in reality because of a lot of exchange websites that are coming out. It means that the users of bitcoin here in my country are multiplying and that is why more and more exchange websites are investing in bitcoin because they know that there are a lot of potential customers.

Yes you can judge the volume of users looking at the exchange sites you come across as in my country I am not personally aware how many of them are using it but looking at the exchanges I think there are many of them.

We will surely surpass the price peak in the past, with the rate that bitcoin is going, I believe if it will not happen this year the next year would be the best year to surpass the highest price it had reach in the past, just continue to support bitcoin as people are now coming it.

yeah I also have to admit that that the bitcoin arguably still quite a bit and I also experienced that I was met with a few people in my city who knew about bitcoin, but I am sure that the user bitcoin in the country is not just a few people but there are many people, they do not know each other because there is no community here
