Hi folks, I really like this project and I would be very happy to support it in any way. I'm a Senior System Engineer working for a Service Provider in Switzerland. Usually I'm building cloud environments for our customers and automating everything. Do you need someone with my experience and knowledge? Or is there anything else what I can do? Warm regards, lazybone

- no, all you need is the Swing Wallet running - with "import Iguana seed" you can import the privatekey that is created from the seed to the wallet - the seed is 12 or 24 words, depending on where you created it. - no, it just means the privatekey import failed. Hard to say why, perhaps you could contact our developers/support in our Slack so we can investigate further. slackinvite.supernet.org - It is the best if you contact our deveveloper ca333 in our Slack to get more information.
@KomodoPlatform: Thank You. I have registered at slack and entered in the channel #komodo, I hope that was right, as I did not see any #support channel. I do see my balance now, so I think the import process has somehow worked. But my komodo-swing-wallet does not get beyond blockchain height 21.06.2017 18:20:23. Are there any known issues? I tested with two computers and got the same result. I also cannot send Komodo to another adress as my app is kind of freezing then (on both computers, win10, 64bit, 16gb ram). The network is working, 8 connections showing up. Is it enough to just backup the wallet.dat, for a new release of the komodo-swing-wallet, to be able to make transactions? The backup can be done manually just by copying it in the windows dir? Or do I need to do it within the komodo-swing-wallet? If yes, that doesn't work either. I get another error message.

I think i finally managed to install Agama, it can run without trouble. I choose "activate coin", choose KMD from the dropdown, and when asked the seed, I don't know which info I should put, I can't find any info about seed on my ICO page. Any help?
the seed is the 12 words phrase generated when you first signed up in to the ICO website. You can generate a new one on ICO website but if you have funds in the old one then all of it will be gone. Yeah, I can log in now, thanks. My balance will shown 0 until it finishes it's green bar loading (I think it was syncing), right? Any solution to speed up the long process? I've been waiting for an hour for 2.75%. To reach 100% then presumably will took . . . . . . . 40 hours-ish? You could try to restart. I believe there is a known issue where the sync process remains very slow until the wallet has been restarted. Yes, than you for your help, I closed the program and restart it, this time with basilisk mode. Previously I use native mode, I can't remember correctly which mode I should use, I vaguely remember that each mode has their own benefits and lost (not sure, though), so I read the little description below the option and decide to try native as it said "only for komodo" and so on. Changing to basilisk give me instant access, now I can see all my balance, my interests, and everything. Can I directly send my balance to anywhere with the send (red button) from the wallet or I should follow some steps first? Like, I don't know, "activate coin" or anything else?

I downloaded the .exe from github (version 0.1.6.2e) because the one from the supernet is already the 0.2 version and it is a patch, correct me if I am wrong. Means you still need to download the exe version. I don't know if it is stable or not, because I just use them from two days ago.

Download link to wallet: Download the installer version first so all dependancies are installed: AgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-windows-x64-installer.exe The download and run v0.2.0.1a-beta beta pre-release from unzipped folder: Agama-win32-x64.zip

Uhh, I send 1 KMD to bittrex to do a test, and because it is succeeded, I tried to send others, this time the rest of my amount, but it kept saying it is failed and when I refresh the wallet, somehow my KMD balance showing that I have "-" (no other number following the amount). How could this happen and how do I restore my other balance?
Edit: got it, I found the instructions on supernet, all I have to do is to "clear cache amd fetch wallet data" from the "basilisk actions" dropdown

If the information I read is right, Komodo is a fork of ZCash with some adaptions. Right?
If yes, what is the use case of Jumbler then? ZCash is anyonmous in its nature why do we need a tool like Jumblr when transactions are anonymous?
I am sure there is a case why but I do not understand it. Would be nice if someone could explain. Thanks!

transparent mode is what is used for the most part and that isnt anonymous. To do all transactions in zeroknowledge is both slow and leads to blockchain bloat. What is needed is a way to go from a transparent address to another transparent address that has no linkage to it (direct, indirect or statistical). To do that, a system like JUMBLR is needed. It creates an emergent behavior that is enhanced privacy out of the relatively simple actions of each node. So while each node is essentially doing transactions with themselves and never giving up control of their coins, the sum effect is that all participants are tumbling their coins with each other. To break the linkage you need to do a t-> z transaction, followed by a z -> z (this breaks the linkages) and of course a final z -> t so you can get the funds into a transparent address.

I saw a utxo today that didnt have locktime set and thus it wasnt accruing any interest. I am not sure how that utxo was created, but to be sure you are earning interest look at the transaction that created your utxo(s) and make sure that it has a lockTime field set.
you can use the kmd.explorer.supernet.org to see if it has a lockTime field listed. If it doesnt, then it means you are not earning any interest.
Other than locktime set, it needs to be for more than 10 KMD.
OK, so if it has locktime set, you know it is earning interest. if it isnt, sent those funds using a current wallet to an address you control and then make sure it has locktime set. If it doesnt, please post exactly how you created the transaction. The sendtoaddress function in komodod supports interest, but the z_sendmany does not. use the sendtoaddress to collect the interest first and then do the z_sendmany if you need to use z_sendmany or any other method to send that doesnt use sendtoaddress.
Now, to make sure you collect the interest, you need to spend it, but if the wallet you are using doesnt support spending the interest, then finding out with a transaction that doesnt claim the interest is no good. So, I suggest to not broadcast the transaction if you are worried about collecting the interest and decoding the transaction bytes and then making sure the outputs to your addresses are bigger by the expected amount. If it is all good, then just broadcast it. If not, then please let us know how you created a transaction that doesnt spend the interest.
If we dont know about it, we will have a harder time to fix it.
Of course if all the above is too much work or too complicated, then please just wait until we are hearing from the field that all is well. Until then, there can definitely be issues in claiming interest as this is a komodo unique feature and most of the existing bitcoin infrastructure does not support it. So until you hear that it definitely works for your configuration, assume it doesnt. Or you can follow the above process to help us find the cases that dont work and then we can fix them.

Any update about the Ledger interest fix? If not fixed yet, ETA or place I can monitor progress?
Any plans to have the Swing wallet interact with the Ledger? I assume this would also allow the assets to be moved.
Thanks

Praying heavy-hitters had their eyes on Komodo and were waiting for a good chance to get in. If/When folks get anxious and fill up the Sell order-book, all we need is for the whales to pick 'em up fast at these price levels. If it just so happens that KMD goes counter-Market-trend here, moon! The price is quite low right now, so it can be a good entrance for whales. Plus, aren't the M2020EU being held starting today? It will be a great timing for investors.

Thanks, however the registration on website https://ico.komodoplatform.com/ does not work. I've clicked on Register button 20 times, got 20 emails of successful registration, but login system says my email is not registered. This issue is known and the team is currently working on fixing the site

If kmd reach there,it would still be expected to go further.
