There are many reason in between bitcoin and fiat money, fiat money is controlled by the government sectors and bitcoin is controlled by the one who has bitcoin. Bitcoin is completely digital currency we can send it to any part of the country where as fiat money it is restricted to specific country only. The value of the bitcoin is very high when compared to fiat currency. The transaction fee of bitcoin is very less when compared fiat currency.
YEs, those difference is obvious and we all know about it. But I count bitcoin as real money. Bitcoin is real money to me. Yes, it has difference with fiat, but the function is the same.

Give or take we all spend money one way or another. Was is fiat or bitcoin we at the end spend it for something. Bigger issues is that sometimes you have bitcoin and you need cash fast takes days to serve all out, but this is something i hope it will be resolved in near future for all to pay/spend bitcoin/fiat not you with cash only. I just hope that i will live to see this happening.

Yea most hope for that to happen  that we dont need to exchange  btc to fiat and that we can do every day shopping  with btc.
And true we have to exchange  btc to spend it

I think maybe bitcoin will be more mainstream before we get a solution. And if more people prefer bitcoin to cash? then cash will die for sure.

There's no way cash will die soon, we have been using it for a longer time already and it's definitely part of our needs to survive. Bitcoin is a good option for online transaction only but in the end it is still the government who has the total control over us, we are oblige to follow the laws and regulation in our country and if they make strict policies in using bitcoin we have to follow or else we will not gonna like the consequences.

The fact that most of the bitcoin users when they need to buy stuff or in need of something in real life always convert their bitcoin to cash. If bitcoin users still keeping up this tradition then cash will not go to die and impossible to die. Although the government will not give up on defending their local currency easily so there may exist some prevention

I think it's obvious, real money is money officially authorized as state payments. the state can perform full control with real money. if bitcoin is cryptocurrency that can be used as an alternative payment but not yet approved by the state. bitcoin is currently very good for long term investment.

RealMoney (+) : You can buy any item with your real money
RealMoney (-) : You need to transfer it with all condition and requirement or meet the person

Bitcoin (+) : You dont need to go anywhere.. just sit with your device and do the trade
Bitcoin (-) : You cannot buy any item with your bitcoin

Just my opinion.. Correct Me If I Wrong

The first difference between the two is Real money hardly gains value as compared to bitcoin which has growing potential everyday.
Secondly the obvious money has a physical form and is controlled by a government while bitcoin on the other hand is decentralized and exists in a digital form.

I agree with you . bitcoin price movement has potentially very good value. while real money only has limited movement. unless there is the clutter in this world then everything can happen.

I already have commented on this post, I dont know when was and on what page but after some months of experience I will sum up my opinion on the difference between bitcoin and real money.

1. Virtual aspects
Bitcoin is virtual currency while fiat is a note. Later possibly when China implements its first fiat virtual currency this difference will be nulled.

2. Supply
Bitcoin has only 21 million plus coins in circulation while fiat goes over to thrillions per nation

3. Boundaries
Bitcoin can be used throughout the world without any political boundaries, any race and any nation can use bitcoin. Real money is limited and bounded by the nation that issues it

4. Centrality
Bitcoin has no center while fiat is centered on the central banks

5. Many more......
There are more differences but I select this four here as a major difference between the two.

Looks like you haven't learned much about bitcoin Cheesy you may want to read the whitepaper https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf. Basically bitcoin is a decentralized currency with a limited supply and it's cheap and easy to send it all around the world.

Bitcoin is digital currency and transaction fees is very low when compared to real money. Transaction in bitcoin is faster than in fiat even from abroad countries. Investment in bitcoin increases gradually and investment in fiat currency mostly remains the same.

a large difference between real money with bitcoin is, with real money, you can exchange freely in the country that you live in, even very easy to use it anywhere, as long as it's still country. but you can not use bitcoin freely, because not all people accept bitcoin, and bitcoin not everyone knows.

Yeah as of now bitcoin is not popular if you are going to ask your neighbor about it for sure he will just take a nod and go away from you. Also it is a difference that bitcoin can be just converted into real money if you are going to use exchange sites in your country and without the use of it, it is going to be a hard thing to spend it.

Over the years to come it seems hard to differentiate the real money from the digital currency. The reason is that, more countries were planning to give their paper currency a digital form. This initiation is a part of digitalization, which will take lot time to be successful. Finally the decentralization alone seperates the real from the true digital currency.
