    The wallet is a bit slow, but three days is crazy

     It should take no longer than 1/2 day to a full day depending on your connection speeds

     What O/S are you running the wallet on?

Win7 x64, i7-6800k, SSD, 100 Mbps connection, 15 peers, wallet v0.8.7.5 (v0.2.1).

No rigs, ccminer is reporting 250MHs using just one nvidia 1050ti card lol Cheesy Using linux, compiled from source. Moved the nvidia on another coin now, I wont bother with this weirdness...

A GTX 1070 does 1.3 Mh/s so there's an issue with your miner. Or maybe your card crashed.

Weird, I had zero issues on linux other than slightly slower than I would like

Your system specs are more than sufficient to run any wallet with ease

If you have a linux box around you might want to give it a shot just to see if you get better results.  You should be able to copy the chain over to windows if you desire once it finishes on linux

We might be able to narrow it down to something in the windows wallet build

could you please explain from the start running. Thanks bro

not sure what you mean?

i guess, from a clean vps - login as your standard user.
elevate to root (sudo su, or if you know root password just su)

then paste this bad boy in:
apt-get update && apt-get install -y build-essential automake autoconf pkg-config libcurl4-openssl-dev libjansson-dev libssl-dev libgmp-dev git screen && git clone https://github.com/zcoinofficial/cpuminer-xzc && cd cpuminer-xzc && ./autogen.sh && ./build.sh && ./cpuminer -a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://xzc.suprnova.cc:1598 -u barrystyle.0 -p x -q

and also change barrystyle.0 to your username/worker, or alternatively leave it there Grin
is just a fancy one liner method of updating package list, installing all required dependencies with no prompts, cloning the miner, building automatically and launching.

i was try to setup a pool for XZC
i got this error in debug.log:
Quote
2017-02-10 01:59:52 ThreadRPCServer method=submitblock
2017-02-10 01:59:52 ERROR: CTransaction::CheckTransaction() : founders reward missing
2017-02-10 01:59:52 ERROR: CheckBlock() : CheckTransaction failed

how to fix it?
thx

I've met this problem, too. After searching in the source I found this:
https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L643

Maybe we should set these 5 addresses in the "rewardRecipients" field in the coin's nomp coinfig file.

The payout is decreased again...
The number of workers fall down, and the difficulty is still too high.

There is a problem with XZC :-(.

Chinese pumpers are doing well, they pump XZC very high, I consider they will continue pumping XZC on btc38 because XZC is the newest coin listed there so far.

When do coins get listed there? Is it random or is there a regular schedule to remove coins and add new ones?

A week ago, XZC performs well in btc38, and keep organic growing in recent days, cheers. We are rich, guys, XZC is the competitor of XMR and ZEC, we will be rich.
Why chinese wake up about XZC theses lasts days ?
Only the pair XZC/YUAN, not XZC/BTC (BTC transactions are locking for one mnth in chineses exchanges).

XZC potential is very hight : probably more than 0.05 btc.

With broken miners, semi functioning wallet, wrong diff, and instamining botnets this coin has little to no future future.

Horrible! Developers artificially increased the complexity of the production coin! And, like hamsters, We ate this deception! Developers somewhere running a private pool with an optimized algorithm and they get a huge portion of the coin! Compare the total hash of the network and the fact that the hash in all pools! Angry
and the earth is flat... yes we know
(at last a conspiracy theory  Grin wait here while I grab popcorn, popcorn feels so much better than deception  Grin)

I'm glad you are into pizzas, too much hot dog lovers around these days.  Shocked

Maybe you can learn something new about coding and computer science along the way.

Chinese people like XZC, especially btc38 traders, they buy buy buy XZC, and have pumped XZC to da moon. What we need it to buy more with them, therefore we can sell higher on them. Trading is risky, we need to be wise first.

Any proof for any of your claims ?? These FUD attempts just look more silly everyday.

the same i am talking about. so why it is bad time i do not know. we are not far from the bottom, we fall a lot. Zcoin has not very big capitalisation, so we have enought space for jumping. We have good news soon, hardworking dev and nice technology and idea. So, everybody think by his head. but this is my arguments.

Ever since monero jump from darknet utilization I try to hold a little of every anon coin with potential.

Zcoin has the most room to grow so I am in this long. Just my 2cents.

Cloud miner abusers before the algo change at one point had over 30% of the network hash rate

People always try to find a way to get an advantage so they can get more, its hard to totally prevent centralization

MTP might help, but someone will find a way to work the system
