If I remember  correctly some people have tried supernova and they returned back to MPH.

Regarding decentralized exchanges, anyone knows is there any chance of XZC to start using BarterDEX?
-Light weight exchange; no blockchain download
-No hacks or thefts
-Privatekeys stay under your control
-It's like a wallet with built-in exchange

https://www.komodoplatform.com/en/technology/barterdex

XZC is already available on BarterDEX. Just do
Code:
git clone https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/BarterDEX.git
cd BarterDEX
git pull
git checkout v0.8
npm install
npm start
and start trading.

Is there any other pool that have XZC on his list other than MPH pool.
I don't understand why they don't ban boots from their pool? Huh

I am using suprnova. 30% more profitable than MPH

mintpond - one block in 3 days. Rewards is much better than MPH or nova.

Hi,

We've added XZC the miners multipool: www.phi-phi-pool.com
No Registration required.  Rewards will be sent to your address every 2 hours for all balances above 0.005, or 0.0005 on Sunday.

Lyra2Z pool:

https://www.phi-phi-pool.com/site/gomining?algo=lyra2z

Explorer:

https://phi-phi-pool.com/explorer/XZC

Phi Phi Pool found XZC blocks:

https://phi-phi-pool.com/site/block?id=1456

Example config below

To get paid in XZC:
Code:
ccminer.exe -a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://pool1.phi-phi-pool.com:4553 -u <XZC_WALLET_ADDRESS>.RigName -p stats,c=XZC

To get paid in BTC:
Code:
ccminer.exe -a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://pool1.phi-phi-pool.com:4553 -u <BTC_WALLET_ADDRESS>.RigName -p stats,c=BTC

Cheers!

Did anybody try to upgrade znode to latest 0.13.5 version? I stuck at "error while loading shared libraries: libdb_cxx-4.8.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" when daemon launches. VPS has been set up according to official Znode setup guide. Ubuntu 16.04.

Found instructions on discord.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config libssl-dev libevent-dev bsdmainutils libboost-all-dev
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev
sudo apt-get install libminiupnpc-dev libzmq3-dev
sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler libqrencode-dev

cd ~
sudo wget https://bitbucket.org/zcoinofficial/zcoin/downloads/zcoin-qt-0.13.5.5-linux64.tar.gz
tar xzvf zcoin-qt-0.13.5.5-linux64.tar.gz
sudo rm -rf zcoin-0.13.4/
cd ~/zcoin-0.13.5/bin
./zcoin-cli stop
./zcoind -daemon

Hi,

What is the requirement for starting Znode and is there any tuturial for starting znode in windows.

A Znode requires

1000 XZC (refundable at any time)
A computer or VPS with a fixed IP address
1 GB of RAM
Enough disk space to store the blockchain (25gb is recommended for the moment)
Typically a VPS of this specification costs around USD5 to run a month per node and you can head on to Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Leaseweb, Vultr, Linode, or DigitalOcean to obtain a basic VPS when Znodes are launched. There will also be Znode providers who can assist you to set this up and/or maintain it for a small fee.

You can find setup guides here:

https://zcoin.io/zcoin-znode-setup-guide/

Botnets on zcoin becomes bigger and bigger. developers, what are you going to do with that shit?

22GH!!!! it's roughly 13K high end gpus like gtx1070, don't tell bs that this is not a botnet  Cry
Almost 99% of network are controlled by MPH. Great decentralizatin. It's sad that zcoin becomes a new one coin that was fckd up by botets

Well I am not able to mine this coin due to that as difficulty is very high but this also shows how incompetent developer of this coin are as to letting those guys f*****g the whole network and the pillar of the network miners are getting nothing to support the network.

This shows mostly how self centric the developers are as they are not taking steps to avoid that.

Maybe they will someday wake from there sleep.

ZCoin is already on Bittrex, right? Is not that a good sign? I only trust certain facts. I believe in projects like Safinus, which all do transparently

Confirmation time when sending to bittrex is very long
The purpose of masternodes was not to improve speed of transactions? Huh Huh

I think it is a problem of bittrex wallet system. Masternodes wil validate computationally expensive zerocoin transactions as I understood.

My first transfer of XZC from Binance to desktop core wallet has 40 confirmations but not showing up in the wallet. Have I done something wrong? Is there a forum or something?

I have held onto Zcoin for quite sometime I believe in the project. Does anyone know ifthere are any updates coming to this coin in the near future? I was having trouble with it's wallet a couple weeks ago but that solved itself.

yeah, project can lose many participants when miners-investors lose interest and faith in zcoin.
Since september we are waiting for official p2pool. But still almost 90% of network hashrate are on MPH, which supports botnets cause they are donating.
So upset

I don't know much about botnets but is there anything that the developers could do immediately to solve the problem?

Maybe MTP will help. We don't know almost anything about parameters of upcoing MTP hashing algorithm.

Where do you see "many coins with lyra2z algo"? Just few copycat shitcoins.
Do you know any other altcoin on lyra2z algo with comparable high daily emission in $?
They mining Zcoin on cpu instances because hashing speeds on modern cpus are almost comparable with gtx 160 and even gtx 1070 on this hashing algorithm.

Read discord, there are no secret about exists large botnets based on hacked/stolen aws cpu instances.
Just one example of a caught "small" 1Gh botnet based on cpu instances
