The threshold will not be met? All funds will be refunded?
This seems still running and still enough time to reach the threshold

Yes sadly that is the case. If we don't have 2000 btc by 11 DEC then we will issue an opportunity for refunds to all participants. Everyone at ARK understandably do not wish for this to happen as we have spent a very long time on our project so far in preparation for our TEC and would be pretty devastating to have to refund everyone, but that is what must be done. We have discussed the possibility of refunding those who would like to have a refund and also still launching with the amount of people who do not request a refund or after all refunds, we will can sell tokens ourselves from mainnet over time as we are developing during mainnet. We might have to refund everyone, but it will not kill our project. We will just have to figure out some other method after refunds are completed per the agreement.

As an "outsider" with no particular loyalty to ARK or LISK. I find it worrying that members of both teams get involved with bickering. Personally it doesn't matter if someone is officially part of the team or just "closely involved". The impact and reputational damage is the same - use of profanities and the insulting of others of opposing view is not professional. It's not even that humorous (and I do like a joke).
I wonder how many of these people have ever operated in a pressured technically challenging commercial environment. In which you're challenged and asked to defend your views with fact based reasoning in a concise and professional manner. When i read some of the arguments on this thread - I begin to have doubts about both LISK and ARk projects. And I say that as an investor in both. It seems in Crypto certain habits are hard to stop. I mean if the goal of these projects is to get their solutions adopted by big companies - are you going to tell the CTO of a major company "to STFU" because they challenge your projects value? Heaven forbid anyone from outside of the crypto world read this forum.
No doubt the actions of a few blur the good work done by others in the background. But a little more professionalism on all sides wouldn't go amiss.
[gets off soapbox]
I rest my case.

We might have to refund everyone, but it will not kill our project. We will just have to figure out some other method after refunds are completed per the agreement. that sounds reasonable. It's hard fighting an uphill battle against people you had hoped to partner in prosperity with for the future, and i myself, as i have voiced in Slack, will not, CAN not, support LISK after this. Im personally big on decentralization and how Max just showed me with few phone calls he can stop me from moving my own coins, whether by ordering exchanges to hold my withdraws, or by knocking off some nodes, i want no part of it. It's a super shady way to block ARK from putting a fire under his OWN ass to push LISK forward. Nough' Said. You guys will carry on, Smartbridge is awesome. Smartbridge will be huge, whether people hate today and join later, or choose to support a REAL Crypto 2.0 project now. And i for one will keep my investment right where it is, refunds or not ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have total faith in you guys finding a work around to push forward regardless Remember: Sometimes you can judge if your on to something by how hard people try to stop you...

it seems the tension starts to heat up here,
I do not know what is behind it all, but the problem in Lisk blockchain indeed inhibit the progress of the ARK campaign.
as I'm sure many investors are experiencing the same thing as I faced when they tried to move their LSK balance, and they might cancel investments because of frustration. and to be honest it is quite frustrating to resolve this withdarawal issue. after I canceled withdawal in polo I myself finally resorted to dump my LSK balance that I bought, because it must wait for many days to take care of it . some people may even blame the service of the exchanger as I did before. I myself had blamed polo and changelly when facing that problem on withdarawal even though it could be it was not entirely because of their fault, when there was indeed a problem on Lisk blockchain. so indirectly Lisk already damaging the reputation of their partners for this network issue.
if this is a manipulation seems ARK does not need to focus for the fight. now i think it seems ARK enough to make plan B to make a bonus equal or comparable between Lisk and BTC, to attract investors who use the BTC and to reach the threshold, rather than be stuck in a war with their clan, maybe you could ask voting to investors about the changes of this bonus to prove you are consistent and this must be done because to avoid the failure of the external factors were not for your desire from the beginning.
I think the balance of accumulated LSK now have enough to hedge. i think the real war will happen later when you can show your project successfully, and then you can prove that what you do better than them. and I believe ARK has the ability to prove it,
This will be a better fight look likes as the fight of david vs goliath and in the story goliath eventually die because of his arrogance
Thank you for bringing this up. We believe many were in the same situation as yourself and resorted to selling their lisk on polo after cancellation of their LSK withdrawals caused by long delays. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Ft0.gstatic.com%2Fimages%3Fq%3Dtbn%3AANd9GcSD16MSV-1VlOe6Mfd0r4NgGi6I0j3HKe_Bz8sxIW64YG2bP-G4&t=663&c=KN73n2JqJmcdiw) David must have read this book ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Also we have finished talking with MME Law Firm and they are happily waiting for us to finish our TEC to start on ARK's corporate identity process in Switzerland. They are not official partners yet as we are awaiting to see if our TEC finishes out but they are excited to work with us and have already thought out a corporate process for us.

It's been fairly slow tbh. Even well known Crowdfunding projects like Wings are having a slow growth period right now.

Almost in every ICO, the money collection will be going slow at the end of ICO, bonus from first date ICO is affected, and dont be surprise sometime in last minutes the money collecting will grow again ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Ark allows decentralized networks, storage and database systems, and currencies to secure themselves and safely communicate with each other and their users.

Thanks alot, so basically is a decentralized platform which allows storage and dbms to secure themself and have safety communication? I think the key thing to focus on, if you only focus on one aspect of ARK, is the SmartBridge. We are building a method to bridge otherwise separate blockchains and allow them to communicate through a special vendor field and programs we are calling encoded listeners that can take a specific action when they see data in the vendor field. We have specific use cases we intend to build to highlight just how powerful the SmartBridge can be and all of our use cases will have the ability to communicate between the bridged chain and the main ARK blockchain to do some functions that previously weren't possible.
