What a coin. With that premine... I'm mining Zclassic, way more stable price than zcash atm and I think it will see healthier development since it is not under so much pressure and it didnt have this crazy bananas price hype. The dev tax was a very bad idea.

Rebought @230$ now will long term. I think after ETH will go PoS also when zcash goes darknet the price will increase.

Also Bitcoin hardfork can push the price really up.

Zcash is launching on Oct 28th 2016

It's already traded as futures on bitmex. Currently the market has predicted that the price will be 0.2 BTC on December 30th 2016.

Since I couldn't find a speculation topic I'm creating one. Will keep moderation to a minimum (remove off-topic, spam etc)

Zcash is one of those coin that i trust and it is in the market for almost a year. Many people are now interested on zcash now, thats why we can say that it is quiet good in zcash however it needs to prove itself to us so that we may conclude that zcash is also good for  long term investment.

They might have a good development team,but they are greedy as hell as the amount of share they will be keep in massive,i am not big time fan of pre mine coins where the developer has the majority of the shares,i feel it is not a fair valuation ,i am not sure why people are thrilled with a major premined coin.

There is a reason for a premine coins, one is they need funds for the improvements of the project. People often misundertand that. And yes, I agree with you, developers should not have the majority of the shares. It will only result to greed instead of improvement.

I'd rather take premined coins where devs have them and can put them in circulation, rather than btc, where for the first years people were mining "useless" 20-30 coins @ 50c and then just throwing away the hard drive, taking those coins out of the market forever...When you look at market cap i would say, shave of at least 10-20% off it for bitcoin as a lot of people don't have them anymore...
