Synchronization from the zero block of such a number of wallets is a really lengthy procedure.
yes but you dont have to wait for one to finish to start the next one .. also most coins have boostrapfiles . If your coin takes over 7 days to sync then either your on a 14k4 modem or its a dead coin. I agree, but there are many such wallets on Cryptopia.

If your coin takes over 7 days to sync then either your on a 14k4 modem or its a dead coin. But they need to sync their wallets only in order to be able to enable deposits and withdraws. They know the users' amount of coins and they have this amount already listed in our accounts, they could enable trading any time they'd want. Ofcourse enabling trading but no withdrawing/depositing would have unknown side-effects, but just enabling withdraw/deposit by one coin at a time should be acceptable by most people. How much would it take to sync both Bitcoin and Ethereum, one day? If Ethereum is synced then I suppose all ERC20 tokens are automatically sync'ed. Then prioritise the syncing of the rest of the chains by highest last known volume. We Cryptopia's users are used to having their coin set in maintenance for weeks, experiencing the same "lock" after a hack wouldn't be a problem!

1000% BSdon't have chain backups? Well average CPU users do! Yet $150M exchange can't figure out the basics. bootstraps in house = no? too stupid to download a bootstrap = yes. LIARS! Where is my chicken?https://twitter.com/baughlaugh5/status/1106036459620859904they only have 1 staff to handle the token transfer, and this staff work only 3 hours per day, poor cryptopia.... There are NO full time staff of 80, there are 2-3 guys with a clue, Hex-Saddam-Lafu, plus the "just wait there's more" shills, that's it ... HQ is abandoned rent pass due, new tenants?, pics or it aint happen-in, NZ Christchurch police fingerin splehez.

So - 5.5% per week. So 10+ weeks / 2.5+ months. Early June perhaps. Assuming they have the funds to run for that long with no fees coming in . . .
That's all assuming they can continue at the same rate, and not slow down
I dont think they can maintain an 80 man employees, 2 Months since they close down operation without any new profit coming in. They are maybe back to square one with just the 2 founders alone working on cryptopia 1 working on syncing the wallets and 1 for customer support

If you're compromised, it's probably not a good idea to trust your backups. For essential non-expendable data like ledger balances in a database, you don't have much choice. But for something like a blockchain which can be independently verified from scratch, it would be far safer to resync with an empty db (using freshly downloaded and compiled source). And using an external bootstrap isn't a good idea either, since it means you're relying on a single trusted source, rather than the network consensus.

Synchronization from the zero block of such a number of wallets is a really lengthy procedure. That is not the issue. You can check on their coin info page that all the wallets are in sync.

Not at all, Upon checking majority of wallets are still on OFFLINE Status All wallet that have IN MAINTENANCE Status are OK and properly sync While the rest with OFFLINE still need syncing

Indeed a phenomenal project for the investors. I want to know more about how this platform allow users to advertise or sell their services. Or which coins should I use on Cryptopia?

A few days ago they were all in maintenance. Perhaps this is what they said on Feb 28th: Update: We have transitioned 24% of all wallets to our new secure servers. Once the read only site is online, we will be keeping users up to date on which wallets have been checked and secured via the coin info page

On behalf of the SexCoin Core Team and the wider SexCoin community I would like to express our sorrow at the mass murder by a terrorist in Cryptopia's hometown of Christchurch. I have been a frequent visitor to Christchurch over the past 35 years and will continue to do so for many years to come. I recommend people read the above posted news link as it contains a wealth of information and is being updated with fresh information as it comes to hand. Kia kaha - Ōtautahi!

I got bored of clicking every "In Maintenance" coin about halfway down the list. It would be much easier if Cryptopia set up a custom page showing basic go/no go information, without needing to check each individual coin. All of the coins I clicked on have the exact same message: Currency 100% secured, Withdrawal and Deposits offline until new hot wallets are readySo the question is, does "100% secured" simply mean "we've started a fresh coin daemon on a new server" or does it mean "no funds were lost"?
