Don't complain, at least its not making new lows like it did everyday since the launch. Very profitable to mine this coin @ $50 coin with our old GPUs.

For old GPU, ZEC is good. For new GPU, ETH is good.

Something wrong with dwarfpool. Last 4-5 days the payments are very low and the admin don't want to give us an explication. I send it 2 mail without an answer. I guess i will change my rigs to another pool. Any recomandation? (without flypool, another tief)

Coinotron opened a zec pool recently but he was a bit late and it is still very low on hashrate. I always recommend his pool because the guy has been here for years and is one of the honest and decent pool operators. It's worth it giving his pool a chance.

nah - shouldn't be. I run a nVidia GTX along side a RX480, hah.

yeah you can run 290x with 480 , just buy nano instead of 290x the price is same
even nvidia can run with amd card on same special msi motherboard,

Can I add these to my config file or does this need to be done every time I boot?

These can be added to the config file. Put "setx" in front of every line and you are good to go.

Edit: For the best H/W you need to look at the 1070.  The H/$ on the 1070 is quite a bit higher than the Fury though.

In respect to dwarfpool:

flypool last 24h 198 Blocks with 18.8Mhash = 10.5 Blocks per Mhash per day

dwarfpool has since 4 days only 8 blocks per Mhash per day ( so between 25%-50% less in income)

at the moment i have 0.12370218 ZEC earnings (last 24h) for 1.5 Mhash (quite to low)

they said they will change the algorithm once one was created. Plus I haven't seen any major change on the network hashrate. This could be marketing to attract miners to their farm

For the most efficient overall gpu with a future other than just Zcash is the RX 470.  Getting them in the USA for about $164 and getting 231Hs = $/H = 164/231 = $0.71 cents per hash (use this measure is for purchasing).

Long term you need to evaluate the Hash per Watt = H/W.  You want this number to be as large as possible to be most efficient.
Each RX470 is reading an ave of 70W on GPU-Z.  Hash per gpu is 231Hs.  H/W = 231Hs/70W = 3.3Hash per watt.  

Whole system (7GPUs) at the wall is 1623Hs/1258Watts = 1.29Hs/W
