IF we are talking about the simpliest answer to this one then this thing would really won the trophy. Having a job and buy bitcoin in able to get it is the easiest thing but speaking of source it do have many ways to acquire it,maybe in a free way or in a buying way.

I also think this would be a risky decision. It depends on country law and order. In your country crypto trading is illegal you may face problems from your government. If no then there is no issue you can trade without any fear. But Trading is the best and safe way to earn bitcoins. Other ways are bit risk, and we need more investment. If we have knowledge on trading, it is easy to make a profit from the small capital.

I don't think that trading cryptocurrency is illegal in any country but gambling can be illegal in many countries but I do agree that trading is the best way to earn bitcoins and its far better and safe way to earn bitcoins in compare to gambling as you can make good profits if you have good knowledge and skills related  trading.

Altcoin trading is gaining more attention from the people at a moment for the reason that it can give you some unexpected profits in a short term which may not possible even with gambling and the chances of loosing are higher in gambling then winning so majority of people will put their vote on trade instead of gambling for earning bitcoins.

The "problem" is that people wants to get some coins WITHOUT any work done. They are generaly lazy to learn some skills, they want a quick profit, to get rich without any effort.

I really can't say which is the best choosing only one avenue, because it really depends on what you excel at. Some are really good at trading while others suck at it and some are good at investing Bitcoin. I tend to be more on the investing side and have had a few gains buying long term assets.

Earnings from signature campaign is guaranteed if you meet the weekly requirement of the posts and there is nothing to loose from where as trading and gambling have a risk of loosing your bitcoins as gambling involves luck and its impossible to be lucky every time where as trading requires good knowledge of market but trading is far better in compare to gambling.
