If anyone has or is mining Ultra Coin with a 750ti, does 55 kh/s sound about right?
I would be interested to know. What settings are you using? I tried very briefly this weekend and only got 35!

current state of affairs for 3 GTX 780Ti under Linux. HEAVYCOIN.

1gh pool currently has stratum issues. lots of Boos.

Code:
[2014-03-16 03:41:18] accepted: 21/48 (43.75%), 16055 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-16 03:41:23] accepted: 22/49 (44.90%), 16129 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-16 03:41:26] accepted: 23/50 (46.00%), 16250 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-16 03:41:34] accepted: 24/51 (47.06%), 16247 khash/s (yay!!!)

it's still very much power efficient. Don't know why that is Wink

Any clue why their stratum rejects alot of the shares?
Tried contacting them about it?
These hashrates are amazing.

I was told they were under a DDOS attack last nicht. Things currently seem much better. My aggregate total hash rate now shows up as 27 MHash/s at the pool, which is good.

Although my inner greed won't accept the fact that you are having the Heavyminer for yourself Christian (Grin), but I do appreciate that you do that instead of releasing the miner to the wild like last time with MAX. You have protected the early investors and people of heavycoin from FUD. And you deserve your earning after much hard work.  Wink

When you release the miner, whether with fees or not, I will be happy to comply. You are still one of the best respected devs in the community, Christian.

Regards,

Aizen.

I was wondering, is there room for a stratum extension which will allow switching the algorithm, stratum-side?
There are some new interesting multipools, like BCmultipool.com, and they're gonna include Scrypt-Jane and Keccak next to classic Scrypt. It would be nice to know if a miner could hop onto a keccak coin when that's most profitable, and jump right back to Scrypt when profit there goes up.

Could be coded in next to a failover-strategy Grin

Im try ULTRACOIN and use this on Nvidia 750 ti ( i have 2 gpu ) :

cudaminer-2014-02-28.zip [32+64bit version] (7.0 MB) speed-up for YAC (compute 3.0 or later), keccak (compute 3.5 or later)

use 32 bit + chrome open

the string is cudaminer --algo=scrypt-jane:UltraCoin -o [pool-info] -u username -p password ( use autotune and find t59x1 )

( No overclock because the driver crash on autotune with scrypt-jane )

Im go to 54 kh/s at GPU ( Totally 108 kh/s with 2 GPU )

EDIT :

Im overclocked now my 2 Nvidia 750ti ( +160mhz gpu and +550mem ) and now a 120 kh/s :

likely not. It is even not possible with cgminer. However I think you should ask the pool owner

Yeah, such protocol extensions need to be implemented by both miner and stratum. A chicken/egg story. But if cudaminer would have it, many multipools would be eager to implement it themselves.

cudaminer -a scrypt-jane:UltraCoin -d 2 -l T5x24 -i 0 -m 1 -L 2 -H 2

Have the Core overclocked to 1186 and memory at 1513. Also on newest driver 335.23

something interesting (even though not related to cudaminer)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512808.0
May-be an idea for cudacoin (well yes and no... this coin will be minable for only 10 days)

Hi guys, I'm having an interesting issue with miner and cards. This is my first nVidia rig and been running it with x86 Win7. Cudaminer seems to crash when cards are either in overclocked or in stock mode, software like Afterburner, Gpu Tweak and OC Guru just crash the system. I'm pretty sure the issue is with the cards brand/risers, but would like to see if anyone is having similar issues. Hardly breaking 280 kh/s  barrier per card with a 5 card setup:

Biostar H61B, 1*PCIe 16x, 5*PCIe 1x
2Gb RAM
32 GB SSD
Celeron G1620
XFX XXX Edition 750W PSU
Win7 pro x86
5*ASUS GTX 750Ti, all on 1 to 16 powered risers (seems that the problem is here?)

The longest I've run before Cudaminer crashing is about 8hrs. Does anyone have nice Kepler bios settings I can flash or other remedy to break the 300 kh/s per card?

must be the riser.
Before I changed my riser because my amd card was crashing too often, I had these sort of issue:
MSI afterburner very laggy, many crash due to bad readout I think
I should try to check the riser one by one...

is this real?

For the impatient, here is HVC cgminer version that works on 1gh: https://github.com/reorder/cgminer_skein

It currently only works with GCN cards (or so I believe). No binaries are available as it is a WIP, and I will not provide support for this version.

Please configure with './autogen.sh --enable-heavy --enable-opencl' and run with '--heavy --vote 1024' (or your preferred vote). Best intensity setting seems to be 3 for all cards, but you may have luck with higher values.

ok guys so i have decided to maybe jump onto some 750Ti's and build a dedicated rig.

i have a few systems kicking around, so would just need GPU's and risers, as ive seen many people using risers i need a bit of help.
So my spare i5 2500K has 3 PCI-E 2.0 x1 slots which im looking to use for powered risers, and 3 750Ti's

ive seen a lot of you guys having trouble with risers, bandwidth issues etc.

so what would you all say is a minimum in relation to;

1) PCI-E version (1.1, 2.0, 3.0)
2) CPU power needed to run 3 cards, ive seen dual cores with 4 i believe?
3) What algo's would you consider running, and expect to run properly on PCI-E 2.0 x1 slots?
4) Is there enough performance difference between the 750 and the 750TI to warrant an extra £20?

And if PCI-E 2.0 x1 is fast enough,
would you get one of these motherboards and just get a newer cpu? leaving a bit of headroom for another 2 gpu's

I'm sorry to say but Christian, this time AMD people again have more advantage than us. I confirm that this miner works with AMD cards.
Expect the prices drop of HVC like MAX again.

Maybe. Or maybe prices will rise as the diff increases and the overall alt market rebounds from the current lull. Speculation is speculative.
