Im having the same error that  djm34 had a while back.

Does anyone know the solution ?

Im trying to configure cudaminer on ubunto 14.04

checking whether we can compile AVX code... yes
checking whether we can compile XOP code... yes
checking whether we can compile AVX2 code... yes
checking for json_loads in -ljansson... no
checking for pthread_create in -lpthread... yes
checking for SSL_library_init in -lssl... no

configure: error: OpenSSL library required

bobmc3@bobmc3:~/Downloads/CudaMiner-master$

I do have openssl libraries installed but cant seem to get past this error.

I swear, it's not me... I didn't use ubuntu since the neolithic...
You probably didn't install the correct openssl package (you have to install openssl-dev or some package which contains openssl-dev)
The name of the openSSL libraries tends to change (or links are not present) in different package... ubuntu is by far the most crappy linux distro, don't understand its success  Grin

I am running 335.23 Drivers and the 2014-2-28 miner and my settings look like this. Will paste them in when I get home and turn my computer back on. And now that I see the new CudaMiner is available (Why is it not on the 1st post in this forum) I will download and check what results I am getting and see if they keep crashing.

I know those scrolling lines Cheesy That's just typical for overclocking way too high. But I experienced one time where I did get such errors at default clock, only once though.

For those interested, I have an EVGA 750TI SC, and this is what I'm getting at an 8x pcie3 slot, latest cudaminer from source:

And yes, I use MSI Afterburner. I also have a GTX760 by MSI running, and I like it more than the EVGA utility Tongue I do miss quick switching between cards, but that's no biggy. It also allows me to up the voltage, something I haven't found in the EVGA utility.
My command line is:
Code:
start "CUDAMINER GTX750TI" /high cudaminer.exe -l T5x24 -i 0 -H 2

FYI: GTX760 MSI Gaming and GTX750TI EVGA SC together.

So..uhh..whatcha guys mining now? I'm mining Groestl but that's at a loss.  Huh

I understand UTC might be a good profit until the reward drop at block 240000 (and possibly delaying your sells for after the reward drops).
Haven't done the math myself yet...

UTC might be good in the short if your just going to dump but i dont see that premine doing anything but dropping in the future

Here you go: http://cryptomining-blog.com/1998-download-the-latest-build-from-source-of-cudaminer-for-windows/

And it solved the problems for me. I did have to run the version 2014-2-28 for 670 though. For some reason this hew version makes it run slower. But my 750ti's are humming along like they were before.

That's what I did as well.  I run the 2-28 version for my 650 Ti BOOST and the newer version for my 750 Ti.  Did see a slight (less than 1%) bump in khs on Scrypt with the new version using the same clock settings.  I'm still closing in on the 300khs speed, up to 297khs running stable at 65C now.
So what settings are you using for your 750ti? I am running the EVGA 02G-P4-3753-KR. My miner seems to crash all the time and I have just now figured out a more stable situation...and as I typed that it crashed after about 9 hours of running. my miner does this for not sure how long (image below) and continues to mine with the remaining cards that didn't crash until the PC completely crashed and I powercycle it manually.

I believe the reason it isn't on the front page is Christian did not do this update, someone else did.

As far as what is the bat file depends on what type of coin. Her is what I use for,
 regular scrypt: -H 1 -d 0 -i 0 -C2 -l K14x14
keccak: --algo=keccak -d 2 -i 0 -l T1024x24 -C 2 -L 1024 -m 1
N-scrypt: depends on n-factor
Scrypt-jane: depends also

I do not over clock my Non-Overclocked 750ti's more than 125 on core or 500 on mem. Some of my Factory Overclocked cards I can only overclock core by 25 and mem by 500.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

What MOST people can expect:
750 = 260khs

750ti = 300khs

I can likely go more on the 750s, but my 750ti's seem to max at about 305-310 now with the newest cudaminer and high overclocks.  Previously I was only able to get 288-295 consistently.

What do you mean by "newest cudaminer"?  I'm slowing closing in on 300khs with a 750Ti using the February release on stock bios.  Each day I push the clocks up a bit more and then leave it to test for stability.  I'm still on the February release because I also have a 650 Ti BOOST in the same machine and its performance went down with newer versions due to the known CUDA library issue.  May have to try running two instances of cudaMiner (one old and one new) if the newer version can take the 750 Ti higher.

I believe it was compiled from the sources updated 4/15.  I think Christian mentioned it should help the pcie bandwidth issue when using risers.  It seems to have helped a little on my amd rig and my socket 1155 intel, but it helped most on my 1150 i3 rig with the EVGA FTW cards with raised TDP.  Went from 1765ish to 1855ish I think.
Is the new cudaminer available? I can't find it. Can someone share a link? I'm looking forward to see issue with pci risers x1 fixed, there is 20kh difference now between cards with same settings on x16 and x1

as far as i know, the riser bandwidth issue is not fixed yet. I tried the latest build from cudaminer yesterday, and my khash for scrypt-n went from ~650khash to 630khash. too bad i don't know which version i had before so...bad for me, lost 20khash Tongue

Work. With UltraCoin

zelante, what's your launch config for the 750TIs there?
Perhaps try this:
-i 0 -L 2 T5x12

Running on the latest proper "official release version", this get's me about 26Kh/s per 750TI, and mine are not much overclocked at all...
If anyone has better launch settings for scrypt-jane N12, please share Smiley

Cheers,

Did you mine UTC now? Maybe N=4096 when you launch your configuration? With your configuration now i'm getting errors.
With autotune i get t5x10 or t59x1

That's the same card and driver version I'm using.  All I've done from stock is use Precision-X to bump GPU +80 and Mem Clock +510.  That has me sitting right about 299 khs now.  Only extra cudaMiner settings I'm using are " -i 0 -l T5x24".

I'm actually on CACH at the moment, but IIRC, it's exactly at the same algo state right now, scrypt-jane N12. Just double-checked, yes, that's what I'm using, no other switches!
Note, T5x12 is not the same as t5x12! Uppercase is what I'm using, maybe that's what's not working for you?
FWIW, I'm using Win8 x64, cudaminer x86 (got broken dependencies for x64 that I haven't been bothered to fix yet).

Oh, typo alert! Where I stated:
Code:
-i 0 -L 2 T5x12
Should instead have been:
Code:
-i 0 -L 2 -l T5x12

Good luck!

Yes, I'm understand that t and T is not same thing.
And still get error with T (no validate on cpu...)
What pool you use for mining UTC?

Soo to interrupt everyone, but are we due a new mining profitability sheet?
If someone sends me details on how to calculate it i will gladly make an online one that updates itself if i can.

Then, are you on the latest build from the git source? I am not. I am on the official release from 28-02-2014.
Had checked UTC yesterday or so, no issues here. The pool and full launch string was this:
Code:
cudaminer.exe -a scrypt-jane:UTC -o stratum+tcp://ultra.nitro.org:3337 -u someuser -p somepassword -i 0 -L 2 -l T5x12

I think we're due an updated profitability sheet every morning at 9am GMT!  Cheesy
Wasn't it Christian that posted some details on profitability calculations a page or two back? Hm, feeling lazy here, me needs me some coffee!

Hi mate, the whattomine.com link that ivan posted has the core coins (except groestl). It's good in that the link stays in play so all of your hashrates etc. can remain filled in. You just need to refresh it to get an update. I decided to abandon my planned calculator after I saw they had updated whattomine.com to have more coins!

I havent checked it in a few days sadly. I still might make one just because i am bored. Problem is i need to get my scrypt values for different N values but ooo well xD
i have around 5 months off uni so i have got to find something to do while i am off  Sad

Right now for my 3 750Ti's yac seems to be the most profitable at 0.0072 a day, or £2 a day
now to clock my cards to yac, find a good mining pool (suggestions?  Grin) and figure out my launch configs

Hehe fair enough! Yeah, I think generally YAC is pretty steady returns. My config is -l t64x1 -i 0 -m 1 -L 2 -b 4096 -H 2 and that nets me about 3.2KHs per card (I have 2) on 28-2 Cudaminer. I measure 50W at the wall per card, but not overclocked (am using Linux); HVC pulls around 43W, scrypt and scrypt N 67W or so. With the cost of UK power the savings help!

N-factor change for YAC is end of May I think, which I expect will take tons of tweaking again and will also hammer ram and vram requirements.

Pool wise you can use:
https://www2.coinmine.pl/yacp/index.php
http://yac.m-s-t.org/
http://yac.ltcoin.net/

All work fine for me.

Am debating getting another card, but would need to replace my mobo and buy some risers... plus I may never actually make the money back!

i just tried you launch config, so far only 11 rejected, at ltcoin.net, at 31.68khash/s
gpu-z says 103MB memory usage, which is obviously wrong for yac

just switched over to coinmine.pl and got 16 rejects in about 40 seconds

On 3x750Ti?! Seems crazy high hash rate compared to what I get Sad What does the actual miner window report? The pool tends to give crazy up and down numbers as the submission of shares can be a bit "peaky".

Ram usage wise I think I use 50 - 75% or something like that
