ok so right now the client seems screwed, 2 of my 750ti's are fine, the 3rd it is convinced is a 780 and sets 0x17 so it trashes the card

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Okay so don't talk about CureCoin here, it's not ccMiner/cudaMiner based...
Also you ruin profitability if everyone knows about it Tongue
Oh yeah, this folding is heavily CPU based too, even if you disable CPU folding. Meaning more power draw.

that's the problem I have, at the moment it is supposed to run as 750ti however the tdp of the 750ti is 0 ( Grin that beats X11) while the one of the 780ti is 80%
(so basically it is the 780ti which works as 750ti... this software is a bit a piece of trash... )...

I guess I am not allowed to speak about the X13 coin either  Grin (failed launch dev confused about gmt, stupid diff retarget)

thats' kind of strange, I worked today on a 10hours job got 83k, now it is working on a 20h job for 53k  Huh

Yes, sometimes you're getting less payed jobs.
In this situations I suggest stop folding, delete data, uninstall folding client, and then install it again with same username and team number for getting better payed jobs.
Let someone else do the shitty job.  Tongue
that's seem a bit extreme what you propose  Grin Where are located the data ?

Well, its too late to discuss about morality in cripto business...  Undecided
Deletion of data will be proposed while uninstalling client.

I wasn't really speaking about morality rather the hassle of reinstalling everything all the time  Grin
Anyhow, I find a better technique:  you go configure/slot  and remove the gpu with the wrong work... then wait a bit everything clear out and put it back.
and it is assign a new work

I have two which seems to works... the R9 and apparently the gtx780ti as a gtx750ti but on small cheap job... (not really interesting...)
(need to figure out if it is profitable or not... to put the R9 there)

I think the problem comes from the 3 differents cards indices the software is using (1 for opencl, 1 for amd cards and another for nvidia cards)

I think the 39days is displayed when it downloads a work (it gets to something more reasonable once it starts to work)

Guys, don't drop WUs, you're helping research cures for cancer, alzheimer, parkinson, and so on.

I'm sure you know or had any relatives with these diseases, don't be greedy and heartless bitches.
Thank you.

EDIT: profitability will even out after a few days, so just don't do that, you won't help the coin and project suceed like that, and will get penalized if your user drops multiple WUs anyway.

I mined Cure with ten 750 ti's, along with two 780's and got approx 0.084 BTC at the current price.

Quote
0.084BTC grand total ?

Yea that's for one complete day of mining. Comes out to be half a mil PPD.

Guys please keep in mind that they haven't designed Core 0x17 for Nivida 750 ti yet so if you try it it will fail.

I stopped because the program just doesnt work on getting card details. When i install it, it detects card 0 as a 750Ti and sets 0x15 mode, that slot is actually my 780. And slow 3 is a 750ti but it thinks its a 780 so sets 0x17

That means that i cant mine on one of my 750Ti's which i was fine with except they changed my 4 hour jobs to ones saying they would take 30 days. Again i think this was a bug

I would rather do folding and earn less then not do it but this program is making things hard. Just as a point, every male in one half of my family has had cancer of some sort, going back atleast 3 generations. So the cure for cancer is something i really want

It depends. One ti 750 is making almost the same amount as with scrypt hashing compared to R9 290x ( 300 for ti 750 and 900 for 290x) This ratio is I think ok. But on the other hand this coin at least has a purpose. You make the world a better place and not waste energy for nothing.  Grin

So a 6x750ti rig will be ok?
Is there a howto to mine (fold) that coin?
Ill mine it and do something for the world if it will be >0.01 BTC / day at my 6 card rig.
Im unsure if i should invest time into it if i look at the charts and see curecoin crashing 50% only today

may-be I am an ass... but 3.5days for 10500point won't do it... (I clearly get the project nobody wants there...)
Hopefully this wasn't created for crypto, one can hope that a good soul...
anyhow, things evolved a bit, it is in fact a project in 4hours for 43k points...

Something I never understood with folding@home is why ?  Grin
I mean Stanford is one of the richest university in the world (pronounced a la Clarkson  Grin), with lots of generous donator, many computing companies around
(well most of the world leaders in this domain are within a 50km radius of Palo Alto)
But still they put in place a project so that they don't use their own computing resources... (ok that's clever...  Grin)

At that level, seti@home had a lot more sense since it was a project with no funding, but for folding@home it is kind of strange...

not surprising, the minable part of the coin gets raped by asic (20% was way too high...)

Hi Christian,

You just need to fold with your name and the team number of cryptobullionpools.com (Curecoin Folding team #224497)
Howto:
http://curecoin.us/index.php?topic=9.0

6x750ti should get you 180k PPD daily, even with this price, you could get 0.018 BTC. But in term of raw performance I think you should use your 780ti or 780, one 780 should get you the same PPD daily. folding@home still don't like Maxwell very much.
And you need to be very patient. Stats won't show after one day and payout won't come after 3 days.
But for miners, patience is a very strange word  Grin
