Take your guess as to what C&C are working on.

I'll go with X13.

Thinking C&C have "sensed" the big bucks to be made on Monero. Even if GPUs would have only a slight performance increase over a high spec CPU, there's some massive potential there. I think other coins are following suit to increase their privacy features (myself a confessed CACHE fan  Cool), but Monero is a very special case in this regard (if it keeps making the right steps as it moves forward).

If anyone else wants to make this one a 'bounty', I'll be happy to pledge 1 week's worth of a 750TI mining Monero, as long as the mining performance is above that of a reasonable spec CPU (say the i7 4770K for example). Preferably many times faster  Grin

Happy mining,
~ Myagui

Why do people always scream for GPUminer for every coin? I think a few true CPU-only coins are good. Btw as far as I know, Cryptonote uses egalitarian proof of work. It is even harder to make GPUminer than prime number.
Someone correct me, maybe?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

The block reward and difficulties is past 14 days. If its so profitable now, we should see at least 500 gh x11 on drk. AMD just upgraded their hashrate by 40%. That is huge , considering the number of AMD on market. We could use some extra hashrate for nvdia x11

@ C&C

Just fininshing up 4 days of mining JPC for you at hahsharder. I kow it wasn't much from 1 750ti but hopefully enough to buy you a round. I used the address in the readme so hopefully yu seen something come through on your end.

I haven't figured out how to check hashharder for stats to confirm your payments. They only show like 2 to 4 pay outs.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

How could I get the same improvement in linux?

Mega.co.nz yes
I posted two versions, one for compute 3.0, and one for the 750ti's

The one you want is the one with the older date in the file name

In fact, its this one
https://mega.co.nz/#!E5lR0YJI!cTm25l4tfLoJyMBlvIfBKUlc15PHLXMZwMicD0h37NA

Thanks!  That took me up to 4Mhash without changing anything else.  That's amazing!

Best,

That's not very fair AizenSou. There was no screaming here, in fact, I was just responding to the poster that was asking others to join at the attempt of guessing what "new algo" C&C were working on.

In any case, since you asked, my motivation for a GPU miner is quite simple: I have 2x really old Xeons, and 4x 750TIs, and that's really all that I mine with (I'm not much into the cloud/renting approach to be honest, don't get as much fun out of it). For the technical aspects, and to diversify a little, I am aiming to mine some Monero. If all I can through at it are the 2x old Xeons, then so be it. These are making me little over 1 coin a day. If I could have the 750TIs also on it, with reasonable performance, I'd be happy to mine some more. That's it...

Side note: I think C&C get's his "fix" from the challenge really, so the harder it is, all the better, and more fun is had along the way. New "cpu only" algo = C&C's porn  Grin

Cheers,
~ Myagui

Tried to register there... Validation Email is not coming.

Just got one now instantly (used my gmail), for what that's worth. I'll play with it when I wake up and see what I can figure out.

Its not sending mails to gmail accounts.
Got it working too now. Stratum is blocked (firewall). Solo mining seems possible.
Edit: Connection will be cut after some mins and next time youll be on a fresh machine.

Ah, damn. Worth a quick look. I'm sure they know well enough to keep that off a trial account at the very least.

Edit: read that as solo mining impossible at first, haha. Time to test the hash rates... But first.... Sleeeep.

I'm using this with ccminer50, but I'm only getting 1.65 mhs on my 750 Ti.  OC'd to 1285/6600... any suggestions?

edit: nevermind, tried the kbomba one and am getting 2100 khs.  I probably messed something up before

hello, I was wondering if anyone know how I could use CCminer50 to mine with both my cpu and gpus at the same time, it seems when I run it the gpus take over and I cant use both.
Thanks for all the information you guys offer I read all you have to say. I am small time with only 3 gpus but I like it.

CCminer is a GPU miner and does not support CPUs. CUDAminer has a flag to offload some of its work on a CPU, but CCminer does not have that implemented as far as I know.

not available yet. It's the last AMD refuge Wink

BTW we just optimized some extra 5-10% out of X11 and Jackpot by doing coalesced memory accesses
for exchanging data between various hash functions. This will be made public soon'ish.
