[ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX]

Using a pair of Asus 750ti cards and getting a total of 2.8mhash doing Darkcoin/X11 with ccminer 1.0.  It seems like other folks are getting a bit better hashrates.  Could someone share their tweaks?  I've downloaded MSI Afterburner, but I'm unsure how to configure things.

Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

Maybe you dont have latest version of ccminer get it here https://github.com/cbuchner1/ccminer/releases. And ofcourse as djm34 said run it with ccminer50.

I downloaded it just a few hours ago.  It's the latest version.  I'm also using the ccminer50 executable.  Playing with MSI Afterburner, I seem to max out the cards at +135 for the gpu and +300 for RAM.  That gets me to 3Mhash.

is there a difference for jackpotcoin between ccminer35 and ccminer50 ? (to know if I can just open one instance for both 780ti and 750ti)

Hey all...I currently have a 3 x 750ti rig set up.  I have always joined mining pools and have never attempted to solo mine before.  Is it worth attempting to solo mine with just 3 cards?  If so, can anyone recommend a coin to solo with?  I was thinking about Jackpot, but not sure if it's worth it with the current difficulty.

this is getting difficult (my opinion) and the block reward has decreased. I switched to pool an hour ago or so... (and I have 12~13MH/s)

Im going to risk my 750Ti's on jackpot for a bit now. If i have to go to a pool i will be no longer mining it

don't know I found over a (well chosen) period of 24hours (14h58 yesterday -14h52 today) 4 blocks but it lacks regularity and there is 10 hours between the two last blocks. So I give a try on pool to see what kind of payout I can hope for.
(I guess at least for yesterday I beat any kind of multipool  )

Yesterday the block reward was at 72.9k but today it is ar 65.6k

Yeh i found 2 blocks yesterday. Found out i had a power cut in the middle of the night which cut off my mining ans screwed up my system. But ooo well. Aslong as i earn £1 a day im not bothered

Take your guess as to what C&C are working on.

I'll go with X13.

Thinking C&C have "sensed" the big bucks to be made on Monero. Even if GPUs would have only a slight performance increase over a high spec CPU, there's some massive potential there. I think other coins are following suit to increase their privacy features (myself a confessed CACHE fan  ), but Monero is a very special case in this regard (if it keeps making the right steps as it moves forward).

If anyone else wants to make this one a 'bounty', I'll be happy to pledge 1 week's worth of a 750TI mining Monero, as long as the mining performance is above that of a reasonable spec CPU (say the i7 4770K for example). Preferably many times faster

Why do people always scream for GPUminer for every coin? I think a few true CPU-only coins are good. Btw as far as I know, Cryptonote uses egalitarian proof of work. It is even harder to make GPUminer than prime number.
Someone correct me, maybe?

Most cpu only coin are not minable at all if you don't have a large cpu farm or a botnet farm...

I'm curious what c&c think about nvidia's grid technology.
I don't quite know enough about this to really say, but it claims graphics rich cloud computing. And it's nvidia. Imagine if it were profitable and/or scaled well enough!

yeah... that last build on github from c&c sux on x11 for 750ti... it gives only 1.4MH.
use the CCminer-KBomba-V1.0.02 release: https://github.com/KBomba/ccminer-KBomba/releases which gives you 2.1MH.
there was mentioned some future release which should give 2.8MH, but still nothing sadly

well the grid GPUs can be rented (e.g. through amazon EC2). The trick is to find coins that are actually profitable.

Maxcoin mining in the grid would have really paid off. Throw 100 instances at it and rake in the blocks.

The downside of EC2 is that you don't get a lot of GPU power per rented instance (it's just 8 SMX and
a Compute 3.0 device in the g2.2xlarge category, or alternatively 2 Tesla M2050 with 448 Compute 2.0
capable Cores each in the cg1.4xlarge category).

Ah yeah, I recall some interest in amazon, but heard it was mostly unprofitable (and it makes sense, because if it was widely known that it was, it would very rapidly become not so). I was more curious if nvidias grid has the potential to be a game changer for cloud mining.

I mean if we could get some beefy compute 5.0 virtual desktop and it would run ccminer, it could be intriguing. I mean, nvidia would likely want to show of their best tech, but I don't know much about their non-consumer sector.

At the very least, they're doing 24h free trials for those in the us. 24h of a free extra rig isn't bad at all.
