What is currently the most profitable coin to mine?
Actually, none Pls tell me ANN of NoneCoin! I think we can all thank the 100's of coins (and their stupid & greedy devs) launched over the past few months who made all this possible bravo you did it, you killed the entire market (if I had time, I would post that message on the threads of all these shitcoins ... am afraid I don't )

hey guys, is there any new ccminers? ones specficailly made for the new gtx 980 and 970?
I'm using CC miner 1.2 (keccak) , i'm assuming that was the latest
hmm ccminer 1.2 doesn't contain keccak as a standalone algo I think cudaminer keccak is faster on 980 (but I am not entirely sure two sharewe found at 500MH/s actually I don't know if it was only one gtx980 or the two...)

I haven't had enough time testing it , but wit the current ccminer v7m7 , the results with the XCN are not so well. Its about 10MH/s but it should be twice better - my opinion...
twice would be a lot... knowing that a 780ti does only 14mh/s You can get already a little more by overclocking the memclock of the p2-state to its maximum with nvidia inspector (which is 3500mhz and correspond to the nominal memclock value). I will publish soon an update to use better launch parameter for the 980 (because for the moment, it just picks those of the 750ti), my 980s are doing around 12.5MH at the moment... My Gigabyte 970s say P2 as well. I may have stumbled on a common thing though, these are all 3rd party tools. Nvidia inspector, Precision X, and afterburner all said my cards were running at 73% utilization, but When I go into Geforce experience and click on led visualizer, and then GPU properties, it shows them at 98%, 78C, and 3000+rpm fans. I have them with a 750ti all crammed in my case, otherwise I'd run the fan curve differently. (I don't use geforce experience and don't know where other system monitoring is if it's in there or another nvidia tool) nvidia-smi in linux reports P2 on my MSI 970

I'm looking to get started mining scrypt and other algos on my GTX 760 OC, been looking forward to this for months. Definitely appreciative for any help from veterans and those who can point to quick help. What version of what do I need to start out you think? Cuda miner? Cgminer? Mostly looking to just test out mining at first, not take it serious to make a fast dollar but pretty serious about having fun with trying to learn about tweaking. I want to just stick with my current single card set-up as well. Please private message me if you can shoot me some quick links/advice as well. Thank You Start out with Jackpot Coin and mine at Dwarf Pool.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks

If you want an even better upgrade (I need to pick up this keccak algo ) Run on cudaminer, the 980 is really (just checked) doing 500MH which is roughly twice the perf of the gtx 780ti. (considering ccminer/cudaminer versions to use: cudamining.co.uk)

PALIT GTX 970 JETSTREAM non-clocked gives me 5600-5700 Khs on X11 wiht ccminer. Overclocking gave makes 6100-6150 Khs. Is this normal results or it can be clocked more?

That is Ok for now...my 980s do 6900-7000 khs when oced. ccminer lacks 900 series optimization.

cudaminer is only for scrypt, scrypt-N, scrypt-jane & keccak. btw. I looked on your screenshot. how many GPU's do you have in one system, and how do you make this?

I did notice with catalyst 14.7 you no longer needed the inf fix to get 6 cards going in doze, maybe you can go more than 6 now without any tap dancing...

I did notice with catalyst 14.7 you no longer needed the inf fix to get 6 cards going in doze, maybe you can go more than 6 now without any tap dancing... It was already tested. Problem is not 6 GPU but more than 8 GPU. 14.4/14.6/14.7/14.9 - tested. Problem is in amd kernel. amdkmdag.sys - ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver and amdkmdap.sys - AMD multi-vendor Miniport Driver causes this problem.
