Need to ask what is probably a stupid question. Can 750 ti's hash skein or is it not efficient, and which cuda release has it?

I guess what I am trying to do is decide which algo would be best on a merge or multi pool that uses skein or myr-gr.

Thanks

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yep, hopefully they have improved the architecture SMX, that was they wont need as many cores if each performs better
well it will perform like 3 750ti...  with a small memory bus. So basically it will be worst than a 780ti...
I guess for mining it will be like 3x750Ti indeed. Or less. 6x00 for X11 at stock. Sad

For gaming it will be faster than 780  - when both are stock. ANd 970/980 overclock pretty well (at least test samples Wink )

Could you be more precise please. Which one will be 3x750ti, 970 or 980. If it is 980 then it is total waste.

Even if the 970 equals to 3x750ti I  actually i don't see (on the paper) any advantage price/performance ... let's wait for a mining review

I have been recommended by my boss (the guy that deals with 1000's of website) to approach nvidia directly and offer them advertisement space.
The reason for this is that cudamining is aimed specifically at nvidia user

I can see why he deals with so many websites, he's a smart guy.
Yes, this is a wonderful idea and this would be great for both parties of the business.

Direct ad from nvidia would be nice though, I wouldn't feel bad clicking at those ads, I like looking at what Nvidia is doing anyways :p

ok so here is a random question for everyone.

cudamining.co.uk in the last 2 days has received over 500 page views.
As its a website i am contemplating putting 1 ad on the website, not sure where but i want to know what you guys think.

The idea is that instead of accepting donations at all, i put a pay-per-view advert on the website so every time someone uses the website its a tiny donation, think less then $0.003 per view.

its an idea im throwing out for everyone to say on. it makes no difference if its a no by the way.

So let me know, feel free to message me and rant about the idea xD

500 page view in 2 days are nothing, IMHO is not worth it... considering that ad banners are nowadays really a bad practice in most web contests (as long you are blogger/admin/freelance/etc that love what you share and don't want just speculate). Better stick with donations

Ok so we have our first no to adverts.
Should i strawpoll it to see what people think? or just go off what gets posted?

as an update, the 500 over 2 days was while google analytics was setting itself up. 500 pageviews recorded yesterday, with over 200 unique users in 3 days

I almost went for a 980 but decided on 2x970s even though i really don't have the cash for it yet.  Selling a 750 rig though, so hopefully it evens out. These are the last cards I'm buying for quite a while I think...

I've been looking at the specs, and still doubting. Benchmarks and other tests all look nice, but for now, my 760 is fine enough, it's mostly my CPU that is the bottleneck (all games should implement PhysX Tongue )
I'll see what the real world performance will be, and what mining results they come up with. I also want to know first what the rebranders (EVGA, gigabyte, ...) will deliver Tongue

plz buy them all, and do a review  Grin lol

i think i might go for 2 x 970, they sell those for the price of 2.2 750ti, with a performance of nearly 3 750ti and wattage waround 2.5 max, probably less
