funny thing, I was playing with the ultra fast keccak (using uint2) of cudaminer and this how an easy 30min turned into an all evening hell...
I won't mention all the things which should have work but didn't... after many hours I was able to get it working on the 750ti (the big guns minding their own business (or rather mine) by tweaking I think the number of registers...

Then I decided to test on the 980 and nothing only  "doesn't validate on cpu", after having cursed my computer keyboard etc... I decided to recompile the whole ^project without support for compute 5.2.... and it worked on the 980.

Something is strange with the new cards and compute 5.2. I would advise to not use it in the immediate

I'll be happy to ave the opinion on people having extended knowledge on the sort of topic

Im dont stop!

Im mining on https://cointellect.com/signup/?code=8dfc7f9a

And earning 1.30 €uro in Dogecoin every day , with Nvidia 750ti .

Max 4 account for IP ( i have 4 nvidia 750ti ) , and earning total 5.20 €uro every day .

seriously ? you are still mining scrypt ?

No bitslicing yet?

Did it 25-way for CUDA - pounds the fuck out of shared mem, so it's slower.
might worth it on the 900 serie... I am getting close to a factor 2 in hashrate compared to 780ti on keccak (but had to remove compute 5.2... and saw some pretty weird stuff yesterday... (say you store a uint64 number as uint2, take the complement, put it back as a uint64 and you get the original number...  Shocked the problem disappeared when increasing the number of registers  Grin but I scratched my head for quite some time...)

Yes mining scrypt on cointellect and payout is more high! try it .

Signup on https://cointellect.com/signup/?code=8dfc7f9a

And use this .bat :

cudaminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://66.55.92.73:8000 -p 123 -u ( put here mining license without - you found it in download section pool )

Example: 99c2-d98b-e989-9898

cudaminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://66.55.92.73:8000 -p 123 -u 99c2d98be9899898
thanks but no thanks, I prefer to mine xmg with my cpu's  (pretty bad at compiling ccminer but pretty good on xmg Grin)

what is that licence ? no "-l T", I guess autotuning on the 750ti is pretty fast...

You can have the code if you want - slower on 750Ti, because of the reduced parallelism. Might be better if you do it 5-way instead...
sure, could be useful.

here what I got with the uint2 stuff on keccak
Standard    Standard and compute 5.2    uint2
980               269MH/s             350MH/s                460MH/s
780ti             251MH/s                 na                     254MH/s
750ti             105MH/s                 na                     141MH/s

that's bring the 980 to 13.2MH/s (was 12.7mh/s before on my yet to  be released new version) on xcn.
But it isn't really the part which is holding back right now...

yep, alternatively it would be nice if it was possible to compile on the gpu...
It is impossible to write gpu miner for xmg, Joelao95 told us... So please Jack80 don't ask that sort of thing of xmg thread.
Actually, I don't even look at the algo... because looking at it could make him changes it (at launch I was looking at the source, the next time I reloaded the page... everything had changed  Grin)

Releasing a gpu miner would just make the coin dev changes his algo... He made that point pretty clear and he already wants to modify it even though there isn't any gpuminer... (once you have written a gpuminer for a coin, you want to move on to something else... you don't want to come back every 2 weeks to write a new algo...)

Oops, you almost saved me a week or two, but wait, that's not bitslicing! Bitsliced keccak implementation would take at least 1600 words (8 bit ones or 256 - doesn't matter), so it's going to be pretty hard to squeeze it into AMD GPU. On the other hand, new fashioned shuffles on NVidia GPUs could be of great help here - so I've asked Smiley

say you store a uint64 number as uint2
Wild compiler Sad I already did some code generation to fool AMD OpenCL implementation, seems it's time to dive into LLVM internals...

Of course I gave you bad advice. Good one is way out of your price range.

Course it is... for djm.  Grin
I have a very strong cpu... I don't think it is made of silicium must be cryptonite instead... its only weakness compiling ccminer (already better since I ditched compute 5.2)

I saw that on supernova. I figured you updated you m7 miner to m7m. The M7M hash seems fairly similar. Except for a few period changes.
