Note this is a declaration of our will, but we probably will not be able to send you the coins immediately after the fork due to technical challenges we'll need to solve. We will eventually, but if you want your BitcoinCash coins from day one, please withdraw your coins before 2017-08-01 12:20 p.m. UTC.
I really like the way you have made this declaration, yes the one who want to get coins in both or multiple chains instantly after split to dump on the market should withdraw coin from every platform including yolodice before 1st august. I am happy to see that you are actually willing to give your users what they deserve, I think you should also collect new bitcoin address from your users where they would like to get their new coins after split this will make it easier for you to make distribution later on.

I don't think anyone in his right mind would want to exchange his bitcoins for bitcoin cash, unless it starts with ,like,5000$ price it is not going to be economically solid and would die off very soon but yeah,it would be wise to withdraw coins from places you do not control private keys to your wallets

Anyways, 'twas a nice plan. And you would get the additional coin you were wanting to add. Not in the form of ltc but bitcoincash. LoL

The goal is to sell it faster as possible before the price drops too much...

But still this is just another altcoin so how can you guys so sure that it will surpass bitcoin price? Why so many people want this kind of coin so bad? I do not really understand about this fork but yeah it gives people higher chance to get some profit but still holding some btc which is the core is better than based on other altcoin

But our payday for being in the signature campaign for the site fall on this day August 1st. So if it does affect any bitcoins in out wallets what are you going to do to ensure we can withdraw before then without any issues? Maybe issuing the payments tomorrow the 30th instead of waiting until July31st-August 1st would need to be done to ensure everybody is able to withdraw their bitcoins off the site in a timely and orderly fashion.

Yolodice would not support BCC just like most gambling sites. Great. Will you guys have a maintenance on Aug 1 or the site will be open? We don't need to give away our BTCs to receive BCCs (I thought this way before too), we don't need to choose one of the chains. Think like a mirror: All BTCs you have will be reflect and be doubled, but on another dimension where they will be called BCC and will follow its own way from that moment on. Surely BTC is better and no one would be crazy to quit them because a new AltCoin. Casinos won't make use of BCC, but will let us withdraw it.

I would like to know if you would be offering more coins to be used for betting on with the site? Like monero, digibyte or even siacoins. Some coins nobody really uses on their sites? This I think would draw more users to the site in this time of uncertainty.

Where is the such weird thing? It's like any other coin that i hold in a gambling site. I can both withdraw them. The difference here is that most/some of the casinos don't want (?) to involve thus they leave only the withdraw option for BCC. They will credit us,as they all say but we will not be able to gamble or have them there as balance. Probably some sites to support it,for now though...

It looks like BCC fork confuses even hard-core bitcoiners... So here's a recap:
1. Your BTC balances are unaffected by any forks that might happen in the next few days 2. BCC fork will work so that it will "mirror" BTC balances. So YOLOdice wallet will suddenly have BCC coins too. If you hold any BTC balance by 1st Aug, 12:20 PM UTC (the time of the fork) and ask us to send the resulting BCC to you, we'll do it. 3. We will not support BCC at all, the only thing we'll do is send you the BCC coins if you want them. 4. If you want your BCC the day it splits, withdraw BTC from YD before the fork.
Personally I think BCC is bullshit, it's yet another thing that confuses people and adds segmentation without actually solving any problem.
Cheers! Ethan

Earlier today we had to stop all balance operations for ~2 hours. There was an error in how investment shares were calculated and the error was triggered after I manually created one investment from within dev console when managing our project funds. As a result, investors saw ~15% decline of their investments value.
Scott and me immediately suspended all coin-related functions (including betting) and tracked down the issue. The investments amounts have been all restored to previous levels and no coins were lost.
Sorry about the issue. The code was based on an assumption that was not valid.
Cheers! Ethan
PS. we are going to increase required confirmations to 2 later today in anticipations for 1st Aug and potential (yet unlikely) network instability.

So, it looks like BIP148/BIP91 did not cause any issues, we restricted neither withdrawals nor deposits (contrary to other services) and everything worked smoothly as far as I can see.
No there's only the BitcoinCash fork, but this does not present any danger to existing Bitcoin blockchain.
Cheers and see you betting! Ethan

Official statement regarding potential fork on 1st August (aka Bitcoin Cash/BitcoinABC and others)
Bitcoin Cash is going to fork from Bitcoin on 2017-08-01 12:20 p.m. UTC, according to https://www.bitcoincash.org/ . On this date we'll take a snapshot of users' YOLOdice balances, including invested coins. In the days that would follow we'll send the Bitcoin Cash coins to the people that request them, up to amount of their recorded YOLOdice balances. Similar holds true for any future stable forks which would result from a failed (yet unlikely) BIP91/BIP148 activation. If events result in a stable fork, we are going to send you your coins back. Note this is a declaration of our will, but we probably will not be able to send you the coins immediately after the fork due to technical challenges we'll need to solve. We will eventually, but if you want your BitcoinCash coins from day one, please withdraw your coins before 2017-08-01 12:20 p.m. UTC. Cheers, Ethan BCC fork update: since the fork might take a while to activate, we are taking account balances snapshots every few minutes. Once BCC starts producing its own valid blocks (is it only me that have quite little faith in BCC?), we'll take balances snapshot closest to this moment. I did not say this before, but we are going to set a minimum threshold and send back BCC only for accounts with balances above this threshold. Otherwise we'd be stuck with accounts with 200 satoshis or less. The threshold will be reasonable. Again, this does not affect your BTC balances at all, nor how YD works. If you don't care about BitcoinCash, you can safely ignore our updates and just live happily ever after! Cheers, Ethan

So many altcoin there but there is no pump at all. But about this coin, not yet released but so many people want this coin and even convert their main coin to this potential fork coin?
