You are to blame.the rain comes only in the English chat. Many players do not know how to speak English,so they are forced to spam.If you cease to make discrimination on linguistic grounds that everyone will be able to communicate properly in their chat rooms and to participate in quizzes,to rain
I can be moderaterom in the Russian chat, andother Russian-speaking

First you offer to moderate, and then you call us scammers? Over free BTC? Really? It's a little hard to see through all the FUD, especially with another dice site's referral link in your signature. I spend almost all day on-site, and the Mods hardly ever participate in HAL's rains or trivia. And even then, the Mods (including myself) rain and do trivia on their own (with their own money too), quite frequently. You can ask anyone that's a regular in chat. And lastly, nobody is discriminating. As Ethan said in this thread before, English is one of the most widely used languages, which is why we have the bot in the English chat. He also said that if YD kept growing to the point where we needed rain bots in chat, he would consider it, but I don't think we've reached that point yet. He can't afford to run bots in every chat for every language giving out free coins; that's just unrealistic and expensive.

I totally agree with this. The site isn't made to give you free coins but to gamble. People who want free coins may go to some shitty "Click to get free satoshi every 5 min" site. I believe the site owners and dedicated moderators shouldn't be demotivated when they think something good for their users.

I am not sure what the rant is about. Actually the first complaint about the "rain" system came from a few high-rollers that were frustrated their rains go into oblivion instead of real players. Randall was trying to convince me to implement some restrictions to the rain system, but I was reluctant to do this since I was affraind this could harm the players.
Regarding HAL's rains and trivia - I am not that much affraid of actually abusing the system and taking the money out of it (HAL burns our coins at constant rate), but rather of automated bots stealing the fun. Rains and trivia should be for human players and should be fun to participate. If you have bots that answer trivia questions within milliseconds, it's hard for players to compete agains them.
Indeed, it's our decision how we distribute free coins. Bear in mind we want to make if fun for people that stick with us and it's not that easy.
Nothing is set in stone. Let's see how the new rules work - the code can be changed quickly almost anytime.
Cheers! Ethan

HAL comes from nowhere when you least expect him to do so. People that are active enough or attentive enough gets rewarded. One unique feature of yolodice that is very fair IMO.

If you have something invested, it will not let you claim faucet, that's probably why. This is to prevent people from claiming faucet, investing, claiming faucet, then re-investing repeatedly.

There is a thread someone started about casino and dice sites having achievements somewhat like the gaming platform steam does where is you get achievements worth XP for doing things like 3 wins in a row 3 losses in a row then harder ones like 5 or more wins in a row ect. I think it would bring in an extra element of fun. I told the OP Yolodice have many innovative features and I'm sure they will bring in some form of achievements.

I forget the URL but that's already high up on the suggestion board under "in progress", I think they're already working on it

I was thinking about a similar thing too. It's still on the "todo" list though. I think it would definitely bring even more fun into the game. Cheers, Ethan

Cheers, Ethan yes, players love all sorts of badges, achievements, medals etc. even if they do not worth XP or actual money e-peen is real,do not underestimate the power of e-peen,haha on a more serious note-if there are hard to get gambling achievements like "get 20 wins in a row on 50% win chance" it will stimulate players to try out new systems and also spend money to unlock them

Yes, you are right Yahoo is one of the best campaign managers where he works with a lot of integrity. That's why many people are giving the opportunity to him to work their project for promoting their company on this forum.

Competition is over, here are the results: Yahoo's entry was full of ups and downs as he lost around 5 btc while trying to make more profit and then he recovered it all with one green bet. Entry number 3 i.e. Glen was made in last couple of hours. It was an amazing competition to promote YoloDice.
