I think I just broke the DHL website...... To be honest, the tracking on the website seems nonsensical to me. The times of checkins at different locations (in the past) keep changing. I found phoning them to be much more helpful in figuring out what was going on. |

Well, my order (made & paid on 18th of February) was shipped more than a couple of weeks ago and arrived in my country two weeks ago. Unfortunately, even though I opted for EMS transport, they sent it via DHL. As a result the order is stuck in customs ever since it arrived. They won't release it to a private person, since they claim it's too large and the value declared is too high, so I need an invoice for a firm or some juridical entity. Sent a ticket to support, received no answer so far, it's been more than two days. My problem is that if I don't solve the customs issue soon, I think the package will be sent back. I sent a PM to Yifu too, hopefully he sees it soon . Wow. What country do you live in? These horror stories really opened my eyes as to how messed up and unreliable international shipping carriers and customs can be, for individuals as opposed to businesses. Romania, the European Union. It's not that the carriers are unreliable as much as customs having a stick up their collective arse. |

You should go to customs and try to explain them, take printscreen (avalon-store) to prove your story, give them a link if needed. You will be charged VAT on whole value + shipping, but at least you will get your avalon. |

~40 hours from Email msg w. track-NR received, until it finally appeared on DHL site. Almost as expected. In my order I have asked EMS, but for some reason in comes by DHL. Hmmm, what ever ! Never been in love with DHL so much as now... https://i.imgur.com/YgoSZvY.png |

I just phoned Parcelforce to see how long my units will be in customs....
They have been released and are on their way to my local depot!!
But neither of the packages had a house number on them so it's a good thing I called when I did!

That does not make sense to me. You can buy anything as private person, plane,car, ship etc  .What does dimensions or cost has to do with release? Batch 2 is around $1500? Only if you provided company as buyer, and if invice title mismatch (bitsyscom placed your company as buyer but you want to pick it up as a private person/ or representative of that company) then I assume that would justify it and customs would require to link you to that company. Still, what you have explained I simply do not understand, wierd. Worst part, your country is within EU, so you should have the same customs regulations as any other EU country. My advice, search exact law or regulation what justify their decision and find out what you can and what is this really about. |
