Well it is true. It may not last, but the returns are real, at least for now. Ride the train while it's still running! Don't look a gift horse, and all that.
They are going to be a year old so I'm sure you will go crazy once they reach in their second year, where have you been all this time that Bitconnectcoin is building their project, check their youtube channel and all the questions will be answered.
I have looked at their YouTube channel and it doesn't answer the most important question. Where is the trading bot trading and why can't the returns be verified on the blockchain since it is public? At the rate Bitconnect is growing, its market cap will be greater than all the rest of cryptocurrencies combined within a year and they offer nothing new or innovative whatsoever.
You might want to research OneCoin, another ponzi just like this one. They were not big on Bitcointalk for a good reason, but here's an old thread from someone who thought the same things you do:

Their ponzi lasted almost 4 years I think, but Bitconnect is growing way too fast and will likely implode sooner. Big international promotional events, photo ops, community, offices all over the world. They had a pretty much identical marketing scheme as Bitconnect. Bitconnect even has one of OneCoin's old affiliates promoting them. It would be nice if people would listen, but there's always going to be scammers and scammed, all I can do is try to help people out.
