So who actually ran this thing? That Glen guy?

I suppose if authorities find the person the guy that he'll be in some deep shit.

Don't invest in ponzi schemes people, you are harming the whole crypto ecosystem by doing so, and no better than the operator himself.

Should listen if people like suchmoon, Gelb glamow, dooglus, cryptodevil etc. are all pointing out holes.

Educate? NASA = Never A Straight Answer. IMO, it's a compartmentalized jobs program. spinoff.nasa.gov? Nice CGI, but a spinoff of what? Nasa is a money pit. Just like all the "cancer foundations" that keep asking for money, but can't seem to find the cure people need. Sure, there are pills that aleve the symptoms, but do they have anything that can fix the DNA after all these years? As for NASA, they "walked" on the moon with 6 perfect manned flights with 1960's and 70's technology, but can't keep the shuttles from blowing up 30+ years later. Even Space X has their problems. Just because it's on TeLIEvision doesn't make it true. NASA even admitted it can't get through the Van Allen Radiation Belt. http://21stcenturywire.com/2015/03/14/video-nasas-orion-engineer-admits-they-cant-get-past-van-allen-radiation-belts/ Yeah, yeah, conspiracy theories. I wonder why the probes they send to "go around the moon" don't have HIGH DEFINITION cameras. Photoshop is cheaper to use, I suppose. Smiley

I see you're a tinfoil hat, conspiracy nutcase now. I thought you were just ignorant before, now I see you're batshit crazy.

Thank you for the insults. Who are you to say whether someone is ignorant or crazy or whatever. Just because someone doesn't see or believe things the way you do enables you to call them "crazy"? Is there a specific diagnosis from the DSM-5 you would like to quote? Whatever, it must nice to be the one who has all the answers, I guess.

I am relieved that I didn't buy any of this an get involved. So many peeps were spamming their ref links to me on Facebook it was hurting my eyeballs. I just feel sad for all of those who followed the likes of Craig Grant and Trevon James while they raked it in from the referral bonuses. I see too many internet marketers on Facebook now spouting so called knowledge about crypto as if they are trading Gods and Bitcoin know it alls. They don't give a sh*t about the technology unless it has a referral link shoved on its backside lol

This.

Overall this is why i think bitconnect was bad for crypto, it sucked in sooo many multi level marketing people who were inexperienced and shouldn't have been giving advice...all they cared about was referrals.
Add money also into it. All they cared about too is for their payouts. Craig Grant and Trevon James are both idiots in cryptocurrency. Also add Guerbez who's records are bad because he's been sued by facebook for $800m+. He also constantly promotes this ponzi scheme.

Ya all those dudes are shady, I think Guerbez ruined burst too unfortunately

I will never forget the wildfire these lending platforms created, and i quit facebook years back so i didnt even see how big it got on there.

lol

what happened?

People don't have souls .
They do have souls...

But they have dollar signs in their eyes.
And want to get rich quick rather then have morals.

And will those who lost at the BCC still have the courage to invest in the BCCX? And what is BCCX? Until now I do not understand and I just want to understand out of curiosity

The Real Story Behind Bitconnect
https://www.cryptocurrencyguide.org/the-real-story-behind-bitconnect/

Very interesting indeed this is the first time that those names crop up we have been discussing Bitconnectcoin for a long time but only a few names that are on those list comes out, the author has done a good job, but wonder where would this lead now, I hope prosecution is coming to these leaders.

Thanks for the link, bud, albeit I know of someone  Wink who contributed to the exposé.

But Bitconnet didn’t do that. After gaining the trust of 1.5 million people all over the world for more than 1 year, they exit-scammed and left people in poverty, ruined lives and broke dreams

They literally butchered people’s souls with their move, and even had the arrogance to post on Twitter Bitcoin news as nothing happened.

In a billion years, which BCC Investard would've thunk it?

FFS another day.. and not any success trying to salvage BCCX from BCC using their ICO exchange.
Just hung.  I placed my order the within 5 seconds of UTC time.  Transaction just hung, swinging until I cut it off.
I'm patient.
I imagine tens of thousands of furious people are out there....

Is everyone capped at 100 BCCX?
Did 26 thousand orders really go through before mine?  ...Every day in a row?

Any officials talking or releasing updates?
Best place for news, other than this thread?

Why haven't the exchanges delisted this obvious scam coin? I find that very suspicious.

Stay away from BCCX. Both BCCX and BCC are uncontactable via messaging on either site. They have turned messaging off. BCCX will not open up they will just take your ICO coins and disappear into cyberspace.

No one is able to buy BCC with BCCX. Management is just saying that you can to con more people into buying up cheap worthless BCC  which management probably owns and is offloading/recycling from BCCX sales to keep scam going.

As a trial run I just deposited LTC to buy 2 x BCCX. I decided against purchase and tried to withdraw my LTC. BitconnectX site will not allow withdrawal of my LTC . I tried addresses starting with M and also 3 and both addresses rejected after many attempts to withdraw LTC. I assume attempted BTC withdrawals will also reject.

Also it would not surprise me if all of or most of the scam copycat sites that have popped up and then dissappeared both last year and to date are/were run by the BCC management. There are also a number of these copycat sites running ICOs atm. Beware and stay away !!!

Interesting how much profit was raised by Bitconnect founders fro this "project". I could not imagine, taken into account that cryptocurrencies have made great profit in few last months. Anyway this money will be enough for establishing of new project. Don't trust to advertisement on trusted website...

It's funny...coins like DASH are allowed to go up in price and not be called a Ponzi (masternodes sure helped DASH - the promise of free coins forever for holding enough of them and not selling- sounds a bit like lending doesn't it? It basically works exactly the same way - PoS mining/staking isn't much different either except the yearly interest they give you is a fixed percentage instead of variable although the more often you stake, the more it compounds and higher staking amounts tend to pay more often)

DASH was even moaning about Bitconnect to coinmarketcap's Twitter (calling it a Ponzi, no less) when it was rivalling it's billion dollar marketcap and overtaking them. The same day coinmarketcap revised the circulating supply of Bitconnect and it fell from around 6th place to 16th (I can't actually remember the positions but something along those lines).
