Ok, I feel stupid for not remembering this sooner: OpenWrt does not have a hidapi package, and thus BFGMiner for OpenWrt does not support NanoFury or HashBuster devices.
Unfortunately, OpenWrt seems to be a mostly-dead project these days, and I doubt it will be easy for someone to get a new package added...
If someone has the time to write one, however, I'd be glad to merge it into the BFGMiner OpenWrt packaging stuff in the meantime

Well, reading what OpenWRT is it says it's Linux-based. So perhaps that HID API would work...I mean it's not like it'll cause the Apocolaypse if you try, right?

Need some help! Has this happen to anybody?  I started BFG miner and it just hangs there does not recognizes any devices, also keeps saying I either have wrong URL and no workers setup.  I check to see if something change because I have been mining with BTC guild for about 3 months.  Also I check other pool that I have mined with for a while and still does nothing.  I tried unplugging everything and removing and installing software and rebooting the system.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rejects meeting a lower difficulty requirement than pool ending with "(unknown-work)"

This makes rejects go through the roof!  It also seems to go in cycles.  I have seen constant rejects (95%) for up to 5 minutes.

cgminer does not do this.  It has low or no rejects with same pool at same site with same hardware.

I prefer to use bfgminer but the rejects are killing the performance.

The only other pool I tried was Bitparking and it happened there too, just less.

Anyone know what (unknown-work) means?

I'm guessing your AS (Active Submissions) shoots up pretty high due to finding shares so fast, and submissions not keeping up...
What kind of hardware are you using?
I'm not sure if Eligius supports it yet, but you might try --request-diff <n> (where <n> is a reasonably high difficulty for your hardware).
Also worth trying is a higher --submit-threads value.

I'm using a BFL single and proxy for 4 blades.  Adds up to about 102Gh.

Edit: It looks like the pool has set difficulty to 32 but the miner (bfgminer 3.5.0) is still trying to submit diff 2 shares.

Very strange.  This instance is only acting as a proxy for 4 blades ~40Gh. I did increase submit threads to 128 and restarted miner.

How much does this differ from cgminer ?

• Different syntax for some configuration options, like device selection.
• Different way of using USB devices - cgminer uses raw USB devices, bfgminer uses USB serial devices.
• More detailed device statistics, since in bfgminer you can view the statistics of individual chips. I heard this would be doable in cgminer, too, it's just not yet implemented there.
• Better GBT support compared to cgminer. Almost everyone uses stratum nowadays, though.
  
• GPU support! cgminer doesn't support GPUs anymore.
• Oh, and the null termination byte in API replies was removed from bfgminer for some reason. Incompatibility ftw! (On that note, cgminer and bfgminer developers are 100% incompatible)

Nitpicking clarification here: cgminer bypasses/replaces the vendor-supported-and-tested drivers to use its own custom drivers (a source of many bugs, from what I've seen), whereas BFGMiner sticks to using these known-working-and-supported drivers.
There are some devices (ZTEX, Klondike, CoinTerra) which do not have vendor-supplied drivers, which BFGMiner uses/will use libusb (and the OS-level usbfs/WinUSB drivers) to access as appropriate.

• Oh, and the null termination byte in API replies was removed from bfgminer for some reason. Incompatibility ftw!

Hey, I try to keep it compatible! Why no bug report? When did this change, and what null byte should there be?
