I'm trying to use bfgminer on my Jupiter from KnCMiner November batch and it is not working as expected. Everything is working fine on a similar Jupiter form October batch miner using exactly same setup.

On the October Jupiter bfgminer detect all 4 ASIC boards and it is hashing at ~550GH. I'm using bfgminer on this setup for more than a month without any issue.

On the November Jupiter bfgminer detect 4 ASIC boards but hashrate is very low ~14GH. The build-in cgminer hash at ~640GH.
I build bfgminer form git (3.8.0) and notice this issue then reverted back to 3.7.0 but same.

I have a question about BFGminer. I started mining at HHTT last night, and noticed this by morning:

Are those HW figures normal? Or am I losing a fair amount of my shares due to HW errors and not getting paid? I'm not getting any HW errors or invalid nounce messages popping up. Mostly just getting Accepted shares and requested work updates.

Less than 1% HW errors isn't bad at all!  I wouldn't be sad about it, I have 8 block erupters and they average about .50% - 1.8% depending on the weather, what day it is, if the moon is in line with mercury...that kinda thing.  Just keep at it!

Find out which COM each asic is under Devices And Printers in windows 7.  Then write your batch file for each separate com number in each folder.  I ran a couple miners separately and used -S //./COM### for each device.  So basically, on my desktop, I have a folder called bfgminer1 that has all the normal contents of bfgminer in it, with a batch file that has -S //./COM13 in that folde for just one mining rig.  Then I have another folder called bfgminer2 with -S //./COM14 in a batch file in that folder for the next rig.  And do that for each rig.  You have to call out each unit separately, have separate folders for bfgminer to be in so they don't try to work on the same work or get confused...

I also use the entire file path for bfgminer.exe in my batch file so i can launch it from my desktop; so "C:/windows/blah blah blah/desktop/bfgminer1/bfgminer.exe -G -o host:port -u username -p password -S //./COM4"

Does BFGMiner support KNCMiner? I have a Saturn that hashes at 335GHs if I have pool info directly input into miner config page. But if I want to manage using BFGMiner it runs at 100GHs.

My config is simple
Server: 192.168.10.5:8023
User: user
Password: password

BFGMiner is running on windows 7 with a few other instances running blades and running them correctly for the longest time.

Startup command is as following;

C:\bit\asics\bfgminer.exe -o http://stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u user_knc -p 12323 -o http://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u user.knc -p 134234234 -G --http-port 8023

I'm obviously missing something. Other ASIC devices run great with the same config like V1 and V2 blades. I have 25 of them blades running trouble free but KNC Miner wants to take away my sleep.

Help!?

Using getwork for something like this isn't going to work.
Check out README.ASIC for instructions to install BFGMiner directly on your KnCMiner unit.

For some reason, unbeknownst to me, my Red Fury device is not hashing... Can anyone help? I have installed the drivers and bfgminer but can't seem to mine...
Please paste output from:
Code:
bfgminer -S bigpic:all -d? -D

I'm have the same issue with my new purchased Red Fury. It is not hashing at all.

I have run the code suggested by Luke and this is the output. Anyone can help?

You could try with a more up-to-date version.  We're on 3.8.0 now, and there's been lots of changes since 3.5.1 with drivers and USB miners, etc.

Thanks but I had tried with 3.8.0 as well ....  Embarrassed no luck either. The output posted was from 3.8.0 as well, I got the screenshot mixed up, so sorry about that. However, both screen output from either versions are the same, it shows the BPM0 with zero hash and device not able to be detected. I got the driver installed correctly for bfgminer and it is displayed in the control panel correctly. I followed the instructions given. I have even tried cgminer installation setup as well but nothing happens either. I hope that does not means it is DOA. Another thing is the LED does not light up when I insert into the USB ports as well.

It's fucked then, sorry.

Out of the two I got, one died about 2 days later.

Try to enter "erupter:/dev/ttyUSBn" .Where n is the number of USB listed in /dev/ directory.

BFGMiner is probably broken on FreeBSD. Any FreeBSD developers who can help out?
