i guess it's just a matter of time because even currently bitcoin popular but still does not reach everybody and it took more time to do so and maybe next 5 or 10 years with increasing mass adopting then most people who doesn't know bitcoin will automatically know and i think there is no worry about that

The bitcoin popularity is growing slowly but stable and I think that altcoins are growing the popularity of bitcoin, and no bitcoin is not known by everyone, there are lots of cities in the world where only one or few people use bitcoin there(and maybe none)

Yes i agree with you i have asked all my friends also their family they never hear about bitcoin and my family not familiar with bitcoin but paypal is familiar for them i should do more to attract them to know more about bitcoin and use it
I think reasonable if they do not know about bitcoin, at least now and people around you will know about bitcoin after you tell them, the deployment of bitcoin is slow, but I'm sure bitcoin continues to grow

The BTC might be used from many people around the world but that doesn't mean that everybody know about that. Am not surprised about that it's very reasonable. The population is over 7B people and there are 21M BTC :p. And there is not only that, it depends also from the growth of each country etc

Many people have heard about it, but was unable to explain how it works.
To drive a car you don't need to know how it works, but you should still learn the highway code. The same thing is with Bitcoin, to use it you don't need to know how the cryptography behind it works or how the blockchain makes Bitcoin transactions possible, but you should understand, for example, that transactions are irreversible with Bitcoin. A lot of people don't even understand how money works in general, but this doesn't prevent them from using and earning it.

Its different situation here, many people have heard about bitcoins, but they are not interested enough to learn more about it. For that we can blame `bad advertising, on tv in most cases bitcoin was mentioned they talk about some criminal activitiry, and in second case persons that should explain didn`t know how to do it properly. This is two main reasons why people didn`t learn about bitcoin yet. People who get interested had a wish to explore and learn more, they are sure here now.

That's correct. Many people think that bitcoin is something like a pyramid and that's mostly because of they don't know good enough what bitcoin is. exactly that disturbs people to get join to bitcoin world and start to make some extra money.

You are right. The people that really uses the internet every day knows about bitcoin and fewer are the ones that actually use it , because they either think of it as a useless thing other thing on or they find it complicating , but also the lack of support for the bitcoin by the community made it even harder to come across it but I think that in the near future everyone will know about it.

Most people don't know or even bother about the tech, but the adoption is growing, I'm sure of it. In fact I just saw for the first time a restaurant accepting BTCBTCBTC in my area, and it made me proud.

Everyone knows but they don't understand what is bitcoin and what benefits they can get in bitcoin. As you mentioned, they wouldn't know this digital currency because they are so busy in their own career. They were so dedicated to do their jobs properly and they don't have time to face their laptops, computers, even cellphones or tablets to make a research about these digital currency or virtual currency.

Amazingly, this may be followed by a restaurant or other shopping venues. in my place bitcoin is prohibited, but bitcoin can use for some shopping online. In my country maybe not more 0,0001% that know bitcoin. This makes me sad.

That's really normal. Those software engineering and computer science students know bitcoin to expand their knowledge, while student like you have been mentioned such as business, economics, or another category which are really don't have relation to the technologies don't really require them to expand their knowledge about a techy thing,it's not their business by the way

So true. I would say that only 1% of the population of the world knows bitcoins. If it is not 1% probably below 5%. This is probably why there aren't many companies or establishment accepts bitcoins as of yet. However, I believe in bitcoin and maybe in the near future it would be accepted by more people. If it does we would see more people using it in everyday lives.
