Careful guys, I know their not asking for money right now but they will soon be asking for money for another vaporware product.

I would be somewhat surprised if anyone in Sweden with a registered company and easily looked up (these guys appear as 3rd level contacts on LinkedIn for me) would try such a scam. While Sweden is known for our relaxed correctional institutions we do tend to take financial crimes quite seriously.

(We even have a tendency to extradite people from countries we don't even have extradition treaties with)

I would not be surprised to learn that there are chip designers (let's say, in Switzerland with an ST:Microelectronics background) who would design and manufacture ASICs for resellers with investment money from a financial background - like Andreas and Sam here.

With that said, I've seen better introduction posts Wink

So why is the size and weight different between the two same miners?

i know you dont have a product yet, but anything sloppy will be brought to court here

Well spotted on the size and weight (Thanks, I will get it fixed), and yes we will make sure all details are 100% correct before we actually allow full ordering.

As far as the legal issues go

Shipping a substandard product would kill us. This is part of the reason we can’t make public the hash rates or power specs. We simply don’t want to under deliver or have to wildly correct ourselves half way through the process.

Just so you know, your store doesn't seem to handle passwords very well. I use random passwords that are not all alpha-numeric. It accepts the password when registering, but then rejects it on logging in. I ended up using one that had no ()[] or {} in it and it seems to work.

Thanks I will pass that feedback onto the right people

Assuming you guys are honest, this sounds like very good news. It's nice to see some fellow Swedes getting into the ASIC game. I wish you the best of luck. Lycka till!

This. I did register an order but I will need much more information before I will commit as I'm sure many here will too. Best of luck to you kncminer but the community has been burned before. We're going to need solid proof.

Thanks

Good to see some swedish makers here, I know kista is a place that have lots of FPGA and ASIC design competence, but can you really push a product to market in just 3 month?

Orders registered. Look very forward to seeing how this turns out.

If your company can produce a product even equal in stats to the Avalon Asic, you will be unable to keep units in stock. The market needs another competitor right now in a bad way. This will further decentralization, and increase distribution to the masses. Especially at the price point that's being toyed with. Please don't release a product at the price points the other players are playing at (like say a 20ghs miner @ $1500.) You have an amazing opportunity here to benefit the whole community. Your choice to accept PayPal is an honorable one and for any naysayers out there, it should be enough to convince them to spend their money with you. At worst case, they could always request a refund through PayPal.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

Hi everybody,

We are Swedish miners that are producing our own ASIC miners to strengthen the market and avoid monopoly.
Our company kncminer is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new web shop dedicated to the online sale of Bitcoin hardware to the international community, www.kncminer.com.

A lot of scam sites are appearing every day and we are not one of them, therefore we will not take any orders and are only registering interest.

We will in the upcoming weeks opening our order book to allow the purchase of our first set of ASIC miners. They are in the early stages of development now and will be ready in the summer of 2013 (yes in just a few months)
Register an account now it’s completely free and if you subscribe to our newsletter we will alert you the moment we open the order books for entry and other information around the ASIC products.
If you have any questions we will be happy to answer them.

Happy mining

Finally, a company I can trust. Please send me your address so that I come by and suck your dick.

This post may or may not be edited after I read the rest of the thread. It better be funny, or I'll be pissed.

I'd like to believe I have a reputation here by now. For example heres me refusing to hold the money for one of the largest bounty's on these forums to date: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=94317.msg1053012#msg1053012
