While we wait, I have a few more questions.

Why would you hang a shingle littered with grammatical errors for the whole world to see?

http://www.linkedin.com/company/kennemarandcole-ab?trk=top_nav_home

It only consist of four sentences. Andreas may be Swedish, therefore it would be up to his partner whose versed in the King's English to make sure such simple errors don't stay published. The verbiage on the website is pretty damn tight, thus no excuses. What use is a well-written site if your potential customer base opted not to visit after reading the garbage I've shown above?

If one can't take the time to make sure four simple sentences are as tight as possible, how can we be assured that the same folks won't put in the same effort in building bitcoin miners? I'm not a coder, but I'm pretty sure there's no room for error in the coding of filmware.

Next question: Since you two been mining for a while, why do you not have a Bitcoin-Accepted-Here button on your website?

I think I discovered the demographics of their customer base on their FaceBook page:

great please keep me in the loop. I am on lots of forums & currency trading sites if your product is what you say it is (almost certain its not) then I will help you.. bare in mind 20nm & 14nm FPGAS are on the horizon which might see the end of ASIC processors being made for any kind of computer intensive task...

Quote
hey guys, i would like to do a suggestion, could you develep a miner that could run without a computer, just a box that needs a power sock & ehternet and or wifi to work... I don't really need it for home, but i know a lot of people who would like to put a box like that in there work place. for the free energy Smiley just a suggestion

Kncminer We support the idea of making our devices as small and user friendly as possible so yes we will take that in to consideration

Having said that time to market is critical for us and we will launch our product as soon as possible. We will be removing features that will push back this deadline.

Here's some features that could be removed, for all could be purchased by the end user:

...The fans.
...The power supply.
...The case.

To save on labor, just send the required components in a HeathKit box.

Sounds like the home brew computer club from the 70s all over again.  Grin

Rules we all need to know:

Secure your wallet; Bitcoin price is volatile; Bitcoin payments are irreversible; Bitcoin is not anonymous; Instant transactions are less secure; Bitcoin is still experimental; Don't forget government taxes

I had some emails with Sam also. I did have my friend [from .se] attempt to call but he got no answer.

Sam told me they were waiting to released details/timelines. It's all a bit odd at the moment. Sadly for this one, only time will tell.

<Quick aside>

During the outbreak of WWII, my dad, when a kid, walked from Lithuania to Belgium through Poland and Germany with my grandparents and aunts and uncles--and a wheelbarrow carrying their belongings and a pig's head, of which was replace every couple days, for that's what they mostly ate.

LOL how true.

Then again he doesn't have to be in anyway proficient if he is the business/money head. Who knows.

I would like to see some concrete evidence something exists though.

The latest several ASIC announcements have one thing in common: They did not show any enthusiasm in bitcoin itself

Look at Dr.Zhang, Friedcat, Josh, they are not only hardware maker, they are interested in bitcoin itself since long time ago. It's difficult to imagine that some people just took opensource code and then they will go make ASICs out of it without understanding how bitcoin works

Without that enthusiasm, they will never get there. And when bitcoin price crashed hard, they will face a risk that no one will buy their machine, if they don't have belief in bitcoin, how dare they setup a project that require at least millions of dollars investment and could possibly end up with nothing?

I don't know anybody in the UK who is moderately proficient at using computers and still uses hotmail.co.uk.

With the exception of their kandc.se email accounts and the one above, I'm hardpressed to find another email address associated with them two or their wives(?).

The three main domains they've had up prior to kncminer.com are not even indexed on archive.org, leading me to believe that if they were up, a donotfollow was enforced. kandc.se wasn't even online prior to March of this year according to screenshots I've found.

I'm going to ask an off-the-wall question: Is there a place one can purchase shelf accounts of this nature that include in the package social media accounts?

If somebody still has a hotmail.co.uk, is it still accessible?

I copied this post from the other possible ASIC puppet company CedarTec because it applies to this thread aswell.

The level of amateur reeks from these scrub highschool dropouts. I think they do not understand that they are not facing the average joe when it comes to computer literacy or bitcoin ESPECIALLY ON THIS PARTICULAR FORUM I might add. They would have a better chance ripping people off involving themselfs in blackhat SEO scams. For example, some idiot has heard of bitcoin..whooo nilly let me buy them asci miners so I can get rich quick with plugging something in the wall. Goes on google -> asic miner, guess who coincidentally shows up in the search results : Our dearest BFL. And decides to buy one of these puppies. There you go, easy scamming, now lets start looking out for keywords in google shall we, im sure after they read this post they will get some crazy new scam going. Remember boys, GOOGLE a is a double edged sword. You may find someone, but WE can DEFINITELY find you. Except if you we're in the same pool skill as some of the oldschool players around here. But then there wouldn't be such puerile attempts of scamming people.

Back to the drawing board now.

I suggest, the forum should open up thread for these "newly formed" ASIC companies to adhere too. I.E a set of requirements that the bitcoin community here deems to be sensible in the ways of competition and legal points of view regarding the companies showing off their yet to be developed ASIC miners.

For example a couple of things we could take in consideration after the rather large influx of these new puppet asic company drama around the board.

Company background
Transparency
Proof(Pictures, test units, etc)

You can add or substract to these conditions, and I am sure lots of other experienced users could create or develop further. After all, we are their main customers, they should be sucking up to us(customers), and not us to these asic companies.

Best Regards,

As you mine, so shall you bit.
