Mandica! It's not fashionable to keep secret the team members! "Open cards" Time! Otherwise, the credibility of the project falls!

I would rather the project be judged on its merits when we release a few more updates. I don't think that if I posted a copy of my driving licence or something that it would really matter. How is that proof of anything but someones ID. The code and the coin doesn't somehow become 'better' or more credible if you know that a coder is called, say, John Barry, dob 01/02/1982 from US or just use an alias. If you are worried about our credibility then don't be, let me worry about that. If you don't feel like investing or using XSPEC, then fine. Wait and see and decide for yourself when you want (or not) to get involved.

THIS ....is what xspec is really all about.... From the home page - https://spectreproject.io/"For many wishing to send money home to family and friend in less developed countries, mainstream remittance is not an option. They may be immigrants with an uncertain status and without documents, and will not have access to ‘normal’ banking services. They frequently make use of Hawala. The money transfer tradition known as Hawala has been practiced throughout centuries and is assisting millions of people every day around the globe to send money to friends and family ‘back home’. Hawala is particularly popular in areas where bank accounts are difficult to obtain or where people do not have ready access to identity documents or in territories where the authorities make it difficult for individuals to use financial services. The Hawala practice normally involves two intermediaries who needs to know each other and who trusts each other who facilitates the transfer. This is becoming increasingly more difficult for all parties to achieve and intrusive government regulation is imposing ever more stringent checks and requirements for any kind of money transfer and is increasingly requiring agents to require their users to produce ID documents. This project came about by the realization that crypto currency and mobile phones could solve the problems of many un-banked and people without ID documents who need money transfer services. " Heads up people....even the refugees coming out of Syria and the surrounding areas have cell phones.....boggles the mind the potential of this coin. Peer to peer ......direct and private.... send and receive. Ya man, this is the same trope used over and over since Ripple in 2013... Let's "help migrant workers" or "cut costs for remittance", etc... And, of course, Ripple ends up shacking up with any bank that whistles. But it's all about the cellphones, baby... XSPEC price is getting very attractive if the roadmap to plays out

We aim to release a free p2p cash remittance app, no bank accounts, no IDs, cash/crypto interface only. Don't take the silence to mean that nothing is happening.

Don't think that he was Mandica.....but, realizes its the first coin that will truly deliver what others have talked about but, failed to do. The whole XSPEC community is excited about whats coming. "We aim to release a free p2p cash remittance app, no bank accounts, no IDs, cash/crypto interface only."XSPEC in a nutshell.

I think one of the devs said he is close to finishing the BETA release, so I guess it's only a matter of days until the first prototype for the remittance App comes out.

Major dumps happening. Mostly over concerns the Android App will not be open source right away and devs failure to be able to adequately explain their reasoning or give clear news updates. Meanwhile, wallet update & APP are SUPPOSED to be coming out very shortly. Who's a gambler?

I'm a Gambler. The app is going to be open source and it's going to be awesome. Don't rush it, it needs to be done correctly with no bugs. Buy now because once we get going it won't be so cheap. Plus, XSPEC has only been out for 2 months. XSPEC will be a player.

I love the roadmap... but it's unusual to see zero buy support before a major release.

We are a small team and work is progressing but slowly. There will be an updated XSPEC wallet with improvements and an upgrade to the Tor integration. The first version of the app will also be released when it's ready. I can confirm that the app will be open source from the outset as this has caused so much concern. We are not trying to hide anything. I can't say exactly when the new version and app will be out but soon. We are working behind the scenes.
