We have figured out the peer issue and made an update so wallets should get more connections and there will be a new Win and Mac shortly. If you compile yourself you can compile now from https://github.com/spectrecoin/spectre - new version is 1.2 |

Yes, thats the idea, there will be a new build for Windows with all the dependencies integrated. |

We now have a static Windows wallet.
Woow wooot! 1M market cap, we're coming! It will be a significant milestone for sure, but I think a relatively easy one if we get a nice Android wallet this summer. |

Great But I encountered an error. The procedure entry point _create_locale could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll.

Mac update
If you are running Spectre Mac OSX v.1.2 - we have updated the build with OpenSSL 1.0.2k (26-Jan-2017) and replaced the release on GitHub. Please run the latest one with OpenSSL 1.0.2k only.

I have had a couple of users reporting some issues with running Spectre v.1.2 under Win 7/8 x64. If you are experiencing any such issues please do the following and report back to me:
1. Open powershell.exe
2. Go to the folder with the app "cd C:\Some\Folder\With\The\App"
3. Open the app like ".\spectre.exe"
Give me the printed output.

Couldn't get it to run either. I suggest we do a little more testing before releasing. Tested on 3 desktops and 2 laptops with the same result (all Win 7).  |
