What are people's thoughts on the Spectrecoin developers implementing a masternode feature?

This is just some random idea I came up with as an avid XSPEC supporter so wanted to get everybody's ideas on this.

I don't think it is going to happen soon; XSPEC is just the backbone network for Spectre.Cash, it's meant to be a medium of exchange, not meant for hoarding. Masternodes are just "out of scope" at this point IMO. Especially at the current stage of project there are way more important things to do.

Agreed, supply will always be low and value high....spectre.cash p2p android  app is the important part.

It's very refreshing to hear all of these intelligent responses to my suggestions.

Nice to see that the spectrecash community is filled with rational, intelligent and mature investors.

Fills me with even more confidence about the future of this project.

The beginning of a new era.

Just to make this point; there are no plans for masternodes with this system.

What you think about this project: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1864282.0
Some people claim it's a clone of Spectrecoin

I think there are already a few clones of Spectre. Looking at the structure of Tor coin, I'd say it looks more like "Get-Burned-Coin".
Seriously, a market cap of $32k and the current price is $2.41? I don't know how long it will take, but I'd bet it comes in for a very hard landing.

Another example is Eclipse coin. It has the fancy web site some have said is so important, and essentially looks like a dead-end to me.

Spectre will be a steady, long term performer.

Torcoin is fronted by a well-known scammer, he was doxxed near the end of the thread...
There is a list of 5-6 of his scams such as the execrable Dreamcoin... so "TOR" is not going anywhere, it's pretty much dead.

Even if there were no allegations of Torcoin being a scam, and just by looking at the face of it verses Spectre, I would say I wouldn't dare touch Torcoin at today's price, but I would easily buy up more Spectre at today's price. Pretty simple.

Idea for marketing: "We will not surprise you by a blockchain reset or project restart".

Explanation: if XSPEC really does not plan that sort of thing, that is huge advantage against ShadowCash/Particl recent events. Remember like ETC differentiated itself from ETH, something like "In ETH you can roll back history, but not in ETC". Same can be used here as the projects share the same codebase.

Monero will soon become a complete anonymous network.
Spectrecoin also feels better to build a similar network in the future.

You need to read the Spectreproject website.....https://spectreproject.io/
Click on "compare"....and do read the rest as well. There's a lot to learn about xspec.

The xspec wallet and network runs on TOR network. https://www.torproject.org/

Nothing else is required. Isn't it great?!  Cool

I download wallet Mac OS version. However, I can't find a peer connected in order to sync my wallet.
Any help?

It should connect automatically although it might take some time and if you use OSX you need to allow incoming network connections if it asks.

Try some addnodes:
addnode=5nau25r6h6yguexo.onion
addnode=73rk4zs6y3gbhubd.onion
addnode=c7u6ahmifslhyd6i.onion
addnode=e6fealf7rslugkxk.onion
addnode=ibnhf7nanlnjjxez.onion
addnode=kfjqzxws2obmtphz.onion
addnode=lkzgfqr5aycwq2nn.onion
addnode=mntahxpytetsdvf5.onion
addnode=pltu2hkznbgg3dp4.onion
addnode=vdoyrfxs4w5vl64o.onion
addnode=vve3opdupv3x4z3s.onion
addnode=ywlwlc6simzdlolk.onion

You can always go to the block explorers to find nodes:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xspec/#!network

http://explorer.spectre.cash/network

Regards
 Smiley

Thanks a lot, mandica.

However, I have still no connection when adding all nodes in the network.

Same problem

+1

I can't think of many things the leadership of a coin can do that is more infuriating.

Spectre suddenly became far more honorable than SDC.

How many other guys met with the sync problems?

The dev says that it is just our local computer problem.

I used Mac, win at different places. All do not work.

Is it unavailable or banned in China?

It would appear that Tor connections are banned in China so we are working to implement a solution to this. We are also doing a lot of work to improve the builds and code and there will be an update in the next week. There will also be Win x32 builds and a new x64 build. Once we have decided how to deal with countries that block Tor we will let you all know.

That's really tricky.  I can use Tor browser, but not Spectre wallet.
Dev said that they will update the wallet. See what will happen.
Hope a fix to it.  Cheesy

Wow, someone is buying XSPEC at 0.00010000 (10k sat) on C-Cex. Most likely a price record?  Cheesy
