Qtum have a very very big community in china, maybe about 5000 people in different group.
all these 5000 people will buy out the coins soon...
so get ready for it. otherwise you will miss the ico.

Come on how will we be able to compete with the chinese exchangers ?
What do you guys recommend ? Can we send btc to yunbi and apply for participation in their ICO section ? Is there anything to know that might stop me ?

You can buy from QTUM website, don't need to use those exchanges. As long they sell the largest part on their website i won't see a problem. Maybe 70% of ICO on their website and rest on exchanges.

Yes if they do sell largest part on their website. But is that confirmed ? Those chinese exchangers do buy in big bulk. That is what i am afraid of

That is what i am afraid of I meant that i hope they choose to sell largest part on their website, guess i chose the wrong words in my previous reply One of the devs told on slack that the best/fastest way is through yunbi exchange. Why? I dont know and I think its bad
But does he mean that their own website won't be good enough to sell their own tokens? I ain't going to sign up on Yunbi just to use it once. Maybe they want more chinese than non-chinese to earn money with this project.

I got some concerns about this Qtum ICO.
First, why are only 51% of the coins being sold to the community?
Why are they using only chinese exchanges and official website? Note that i got told by a dev on slack that Chinese exchanges are going to be the fastest way of buying Qtum, which is bad for every non-chinese investor. Not to mention that all I hear about chinese exchanges is that they are kinda shady and not trustworthy.
What will be the price/Qtum? Not so worried about it but ICO is in 9 days, could get some info on that.
The fact that it is like the first one to not share its code before the ICO, if not then I am sorry, just not aware of any other like this. And the fact that the Mainnet will only be live at least a couple months after the ICO "successful" ending.
Exchanges will keep the coins for all that time, could lead to some manipulation, steal, and whatnot.
I really like the idea, the future plans and the fact that they got a lot of media attention but this last one can also be a very bad thing.

This ICO looks legit with whitepaper, promotions and all unlike most of the ICO on bitcoin talk which are most probably scams in one way or another. However, it is listed on Chinese exchanges which might not necessarily be a good thing for non chinese investors. Just hoping that Qtum website will sell the bulk of the 51% share of coins.

why not add a major exchange that is not chinese? surely that would be a good idea for a project this large? then again if we have the website to purchase from that is good enough so long as there are enough coins there or at least 50% of available coins.

What non Chinese exchanges would you like to see added? Im not gonna throw a name here, but any decent non chinese one. It might not end up being that important if the official website sells like 70% of the 51% available.

What non Chinese exchanges would you like to see added? That's my concern, I have heard if the Chinese exchange will always try to restricting his new member to verification his ID. But I just think if liqui will try to put them on his exchange site and it may be a good thing rather than throw all of the stocks on the Chinese market.
