Gambling and addiction could rather be considered as two synonyms .it becomes quite difficult for a person to give up on gambling once he get himself indulged in it. The only way to control greed over gambling is to take control over your nerves as soon as possible. I think that once you loose a big amount of money and realise that greed is not getting you any money, you'll learn howa to control yourself. I personally had an experience like that; i lost a lot but then when i realised i should slow things down and make a long term strategy i started making some money.

For me the only way to control the greediness is to set your self a goal or target on how much you will spent on gambling because we have the tendency to gamble more if we loss specially if its your hard earn money. You control your own brain, period. If you cant get rid of your greed then you wont be able to do most thing. It is just a simple thing however people seems to make it harder than it seems.
