I ordered L3 by Alibaba (Nakamoto Shenzhen Technology Co., Ltd.) and I got the UPS tracking number with delivery on Tuesday. I paid credit card because I have a 0% APR for 1 year on it, so I didn't invest their money at this moment. Besides, the purchase by Alibaba is more secure but more expensive.

Did your order actually ship?   Looks like a fair price from Nakamoto. I ordered from another supplier, got my tracking number, but then nothing happened for three days.  Hoping to get delivery this Tuesday.

If nothing happened for three days, just ask supplier about that. My package is in transit (last note in Japan) with scheduled delivery updated to: Thursday.

There is current performance of L3 in real time.
https://www.miningrigrentals.com/rigs/36338/

Looks very unstable, but guy is probalby minning some ubercrapcoin. Eitherway L3 looks nice but given S9 issues and first scrypt miner from Bitmain, i wouldn't trust it. One breakdown a year and you will lose all you gained from electricity.

If it is really L3, I'm impressed. Now probably after overclocking it hashing at 300Mh/s average or it's scam.

Not a scam just minning some crapcoin with probably low diff. I can also get almost 400Mhas on some peaks on A4.

Low diff has nothing to do with higher Hashrate, in fact you'll get a more accurate hahsrate average with lower diff. If anything you'll get higher "peaks" with higher diff shares.

Also don't understand plp who buy A4 or now L3 and send them to mine LTC. Whole point is to mine crapcoins so you can get more profits. If wanna mine just one monocoin, then buy S9 and mine BTC directly.

8% bonus using www.litecoinpool.org vs prohash at 5% fee as an example. Add to that the 103% litecoinpool pays.
AGAIN this is compared to the fees and the above bonus. Also I get NO errors (I mean NONE) on litecoinpool on 9 titans....likely would be same for L3.

(also in my case flaky Titans that hate multipools ..got a pm from a guy that anyway at our new 'revised' lower rate for btc and ltc there is NOW
no difference between prohash payout (taking into account the 8% bonus on litecoinpool vs prohash) ..so it is again i GUESS oranges and oranges
from my knc titan point of view

But hey if the L3 works fine with multipool with prohash go for it...the odds are no worse then (or probably better) then me mining LTC like hell
and converting the hoard with the ltc to btc ratio makes more sense. Flip a coin.

Now if BTC goes back to 1177 usd per btc I may try prohash again....just saying...but L3's likely will have no issue with multipools imho. Guess you will find out Smiley

(place your bets gentleman..spin the wheel..note the options ....LTC dump in price/BTC dump in price/missed particular alt coin pump/Ltc difficulty rise/more scrypt
miners dumped/etc

pick your poison...I'm sitting on fence..too many variables at play for me right now to get an L3..(then again have titans so can afford to not jump in ..for now)

Somebody just launched 162 L3 Antminers (maybe A4s) on Nicehash!

Could just as easily be A4, just because you see 'workers' with 250-280 mh/s that doesn't prove anything.

Maybe spend 5 min googling before you try to 'give advice' on something you obviously don't grasp at all.

Using the Nicehash chart, they've been averaging 251Mh per miner (40728/162) for the last 1.5 hours.  That's pretty close to the L3 specification of 250MH which would incline one to believe these are L3s given the A4 instability issues.

Given the MHs spread per miner I'd bet on them being A4's. Looks a lot like mine do.
Someone's trying to get better returns following the big profit drop this week.

Ok, the L3 showed up a day early.  I pulled it out of the box and powered it up and put it on Prohashing.  Right now it is hashing above it's rating on Prohashing at the moment at 270mhs.  Miner says 251mhs.  It is slow to boot like the rest of the Antminer miners.  Takes a while for it to power cycle. During the POST testing it fires up the fan at what sounds like 100%, then turns off... Then it reset the controller and then came back online.  The fan is pretty quiet in operational mode at the moment.  But the garage is rather chilly at the moment so it can load along for the time being.

I will try to get you guys some data and screen shots later.  So Eastshore.xyz did deliver what I ordered.  Now to monitor and make sure it is happy.   Grin

Sorry you are right. Client on MRR put 95k diff on my A4 and hash jumped up and down from 150 to 460Mhas.

Looks like A4's  ther is one with 275Mhas. It sometimes work at 275 sometimes at 240 on Nicehash.

Well the hash rate fell pretty fast on Prohashing... Doesn't not look like the L3's are happy on multipools either.  I have diff set at 65536 and didn't seem to make a difference so far.  Still monitoring to see what it does.

Try the titan settings if you havnt already. I gained ~20% by tweaking settings on PH.

Thanks for the recommendation to use the Titan settings.  I went and found they recommend setting a value of -h=3 to -h=5.  They only mentioned setting diff to 8192, but I left that at 65536 and tried -h=3 and the hash rate seems to have stabilized pretty close to the rated hash rate around 250mhs.  It is not looking bad at all right now.

So far it is working better than my A4's did on Prohashing.  This miner is really quiet, perfect home miner.  My gpu rigs are louder than this thing.  So far so good.  I will continue to monitor and let you know of any weird behavior.  After 24 hours I will take some screen shots of the performance and post for you guys.

I'd be more curious about the power use so far, pretty cool though. I have been tweaking all day with mine (A4) different freqs and voltages , but on an ltc pool so far, I see that they are more stable (A4 B3) but I think there is still an issue that is going to be a problem that is not fixed. I am not sure if it can be handled with just new software or a new reflash again. What I see is every time there is a coin change or basically block change there looks to be a board reset which takes time. Right now after some tweaking I am seeing 260-280 on ltcpool, will see what it does on prohash, plus got some power figures during all this, plus some fan mod everything doesn't need to run wide open all the time.

What are the restart times like Longsnowsm, and does the UI provide any temp data, especially in relation to the DC/DC circuitry?

Did that burst rate of 270Mhs hold over 24 hours after multiple coin switches?

After watching Bitcoin Master's youtube video 'Mining Bitcoin is harder than you think' I'm interested to hear about the reliability of the L3's by 'early adopters' before buying some myself Wink
