Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal?

I think no and yes, Paypal is a really popular for most of the people and almost all stores accept payments from paypal even payment from buying bitcoins. You can connect your paypal account to your Credit Card but in bitcoin wallet, there are only some wallets that has these feature. Paypal use real money and some users of bitcoin, still convert their bitcoins into real money.

People go for PayPal because of its convenience, high level of acceptance, and the buyer protection feature. It's very difficult for Bitcoin to gain ground in its current form. Simply having larger blocks won't do much as more is needed. In order to make Bitcoin a decent PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, etc, competitor, it needs Lightning Network. That's how you push Bitcoin into mass adoption.

PayPal ain't no currency. Can't be stressed enuf. A PayPal account gets ballanced in dollars. They are just a company providing a product, beeing hinged onto classical payment channels. Each and every Bitcoin startup could offer the service, just adding BTC along bank wire to fund the accounts.
That would work on current state of things, blockchain as a settlement layer. Nor bigger blocks or LN would expand any possibilities that allready do exist.

You need to learn to understand what someone is saying before throwing around with something that isn't related to what I said. I never claimed PayPal to be a currency. In fact, it's just a platform that allows people to transact in a save and fast environment, and that's it. Main element remains fiat.

Bitcoin and paypal both are technically different as well as structurally. Bitcoin is currency itself whereas paypal is just a wallet to fecilitate payment. It doesn't have its own value in the market. So bitcoin and paypal can't be compared with each other.

However, if you talk about popularity between these two, I think paypal is far more known name than bitcoin. However, bitcoin has its distinct properties and worldwide reach without the legal burdens like paypal. So my feeling is that, bitcoin will eventually beat paypal in its good time in terms of user acceptability while paypal will remain one of the best exchange facilitator.

Mobile apps are getting sophisticated at a rapid rate so I'm sure these problems will be solved quickly. As long as the market catches up, we should have nothing to worry about.

But it is definitely faster and more secure than PayPal. There is no 3rd party involved in the exchange, so yes I hope Bitcoin does eventually replace PayPal.  

in addition to faster, you're also free to use bitcoin for anything. because of the decentralization that makes you free to use bitcoin for any transaction. it was better than paypal

The other benefit of bitcoin is that no one can freeze our money till the time when our money is in our desktop wallet so we control our money while in paypal you will remain in a risk that any day it will freeze your money.

Not only bitcoin is technologically faster, it is more user friendly and tax free. We do not have to give extra charges while sending and receiving money and also bitcoin accepted worldwide whereas there are few countries where paypal do not support.

The only issue is Paypal is more popular then bitcoins as it exists since long time and bitcoin is comparatively new to the people but I am sure when people will start knowing bitcoins they will not use Paypal anymore and will switch to bitcoins.

Most probably but not in every country. The Bitcoin needs to overcome many challenges in first world countries, then only it'll be a popular choice by the people.
In third world countries Bitcoin is the most useful as PayPal asks for a huge fee for every transaction, if they some how find a solution for that then I think PayPal still has a chance to come back, otherwise Bitcoin will rule as it is now.

The best thing about bitcoin is that it involves very less fees in compare to Paypal and you can also send or receive money instantly with just an click of a mouse and bitcoin will surely take over paypal in future.

Yeah. Full satisfied with your words but here it is a big matter that we can use PayPal in the whole world without any restriction and without any doubtful things ( whether is allowed or not officially) , so every people can use PayPal throughout the whole world , but here in the bitcoin , it is not allowed to use in few countries like Bangladesh , Russia's some.state  , so in that countries people we can't make deals , so here it will we more better to say that bitcoin will not replace PayPal .
Since it is possible for bitcoin if those countries who banned the bitcoin , unban the use of bitcoin for the people .

One more is almost all of online shops are open to this option of transaction.
Paypal have done so many steps to make it stronger and I think that is hard to break just like that.

Trust and legality means a lot to everyone, and moment will come when people will embrace bitcoin. We can't compare PayPal with bitcoin, because PayPal is just service and nothing more, bitcoin offer much more then some fiat service.
PayPal done a lot, I agree with that, and they will not surrender without the fight, and this battle will be long in my view, but in the end bitcoin will win.

i think its not now because bitcoin needs more to do to overcome paypal and i think people in the other country which don't know about bitcoin and they only know about paypal, i think they will select paypal and will stick with paypal to send and receive money. for them, paypal is still the best but i think after they know bitcoin, they will move into bitcoin and trying bitcoin too like us.

It is not appropriate to compare bitcoin with PayPal as PayPal is not any currency and when it comes to transaction people will always prefer PayPal over bitcoin.
But people who earn bitcoin will obviously use bitcoin as they would not take the job to first convert bitcoin into USD and store them in PayPal and then use.
Rather they will directly use bitcoins. But for places where bitcoin is not accepted then they might have to first convert bitcoin. And i don't personally feel that bitcoin will ever overcome PayPal. Like if it does then i would be good for me as well as all those who use bitcoin.

Agree. It would need more time to mature, to become a stronger competitor against PayPal. Right now, PayPal has the trust from established merchants and businesses, but as time goes by, and Bitcoin becomes recognized as a mainstream cryptocurrency, it will become more used by merchants from around the world.

It wouldn't be surprising though to see Amazon or eBay accept Bitcoin, when it becomes successful enough. The pioneer cryptocurrency would need to fix some issues before it can be considered as a solid payments processor. Scalability is key here, and if Bitcoin continues in its debate, it will limit its future to become mainstream.

By that time, other alternative cryptocurrency might take the lead with the capability of handling massive transaction throughput like Visa or even greater. The crypto world competition is fierce, and only those cryptocurrencies which could deliver fast and reliable payments will be prone to succeed. Just my opinion.

Thats how Linux users could say about their OS. Thats its fairly superior to Windows. Its more diverse, more secure etc etc. Yes bitcoin is the Linux and the Paypal is the buggy bluescreened Windows.

But there is a reason why the Paypal and Windows is the no. 1. Its the corporate consensus that all of the softwares or in case of the paypal, buisnesses, operates using Paypal/Windows and not Bitcoin/Linux. Money talks and those who have a more money and power dictates the "free market".
