I don't think so. For me is both, holding your bitcoin is not bad because as we experience today bitcoin is still growing so it has a chance that your money will be doubled. Sell is also good because you can't assure the incresing amount of bitcoin maybe it is just for now so its better to sell it buy some altcoins that you think is going to pump.

to me i will prefer to hold. as i like long term investment and specially trading bitcoin. because the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing so it is still time to hold bitcoin and not to sell it. it is expected that the price of bitcoin is going to cross 3000 USD level very soon. so i have to wait tell that time.

Well, I can say it was never to late to hold, the price is still in the uptrend and since more news are coming I am pretty sure we will not see the price will stop yet. Buy now but make sure you will be able to monitor the price consistently, you might know what will come if you will not.

If the block size of the bitcoin is not increased a lot, the transaction will be slow and that will drive users to other coins.

At this point I can't really see the price fall back that low. Especially when you take the reasons for the price to increase into consideration. For now, if a correction becomes reality, I don't see it go lower than the $1500 level. I really think that no matter how low the chances of approval of the ETF are, that market movers do believe in a positive scenario. If that turns out to be the case, then a positive or negative outcome will greatly affect the price. In case of a negative outcome -- $1200-$1300. In case of a positive outcome -- +$2000 easily.

I bet you will change your mind and will end up not selling if you will see that price, mine too I'm sure it will be my decision as I want to see more and more increase to come. Been waiting for so long to see the price pumping, now it the opportunity to earn more so we should be smart in making a decision to sell, make sure you will get the best profit when selling so you will not regret where there is more to come.

The right time will be decided by OP, if he needs the money badly then it is the right time to sell his stash.  If not, holding is the best option.  Buying BTC at this current price is not bad also, since we are all optimistic that price will go up in the following months.  But still as I said, OP have the decision to buy more.

Before you invest make sure you already have a plan on how your manage it, your personal needs is something that will distract your plan, other source should take care of it because you only put what you can afford to lose and that is intended for investment based on your projected term.

Yes planning is the most important part in the investment. It needs to be done before you invest for various reasons like;
If I invest in that certain currency what will be its return and what are the chances of loss. Secondly you also have to plan a specific time period for your investment that till how much time it will come for you to take your money back from it. These are the things can be really helpful.

It may become reality, that's right. The price at the time I posted that was nearly $300 lower than is the case right now, and that while we're just a few days further. But we still haven't touched the $2000 level yet. As we speak -- we're a few days away from the SEC coming up with a statement regarding the ETF. By that time we'll see till what level the current price is build up on ETF speculation.

Right, but the problem for people is that as long as the ETF review hasn't lead to any official statements from the SEC, people risk selling too soon. No matter how low the chances of approval are, it's better to keep holding. Best is to strategically place a few sell orders just before the 15th of this month. If the price happens to tank, they will have to sell through your orders, and thus you won't lose out big time. If the price sinks deep enough, you could even decide to buy back -- that's my plan.

That's a smart move to make and I will buy some more of them only if I see price going down in coming days or else I will prefer to hold the coins that I have at a moment as the current price is not affordable for me to buy more bitcoins as I am really short off money at a moment.

Now everyone is waiting for what the price of bitcoin will rise so I have to keep saving and not spend. This creates a shortage of supply and promotes growth, but as soon as the large speculators start to sell the price can come down and you can't sell your bitcoins because of a lack of demand while the decline will not stop.

Well things have changed a lot since you have asked the question.The beauty of bitcoin is that we couldnot predict exactly its price movement.Some said that bitcoin would die due to BU but in totally contrast to predictions,bitcoin price has reached $1735 today.Just one suggestion,bitcoin adoption is increasing day by day and there are lots of positive changes in Japan and Australia related to bitcoin.More companies have started accepting bitcoin payments.These improvements show that bitcoin would continue to go in bullish trend this year.Rest you have to decide.

Everytime the price goes up so quickly it always ends up crashing, it has already happened many times and it's happening now a bit, anyways I'm pretty sure it won't fall under 1400 or so but still, I always sell when it pumps so fast
