I'm keeping 40,000 Bos and waiting for the mainnet. DEV please hurry up slightly, this project is too slow compared to similar projects

You still have may for the mainnet and there may even be slight delays further.Holding 40k bos is a dream for now and this would be even better after the mainnet.

If I remember correctly, it was 18 BOS 1 block. and block time is 5 seconds.

If I remember correctly, it was 18 BOS 1 block. and block time is 5 seconds.

so 86,400 seconds in each day / 5 seconds per block = 17,280 Blocks created daily

17,280 blocks created per day X 18 BOS per block = 311,040 BOS per day?

311,040 boscoins are created every day?  is this accurate or correct? this seems like a lot of BOS to be created every day?

you think your going to generate 311 bos per 1 node per day?  Lol, obviously no one knows how to officially calculate the rewards yet.

based on one node is 26.11 BOScoins in confirmation rewards and  98.41 BOScoins in transaction rewards

Can Dahemmer estimate how many BOS are generated per day in total through Node and Freezing rewards?

When will the main net be released?
Can I find on GitHub?

Anyway, the present price is only less than 1/10 of the peak price. A lot of investors are bleeding.

Currently there is no way to know how much rewards one will receive running a node until mainnet is launched.

Based on wallet balances, the https://bosradar.com reward calculator shows below rewards per day.
26.11 BOScoins in confirmation rewards
98.41 BOScoins in transaction rewards
40.39$ Per day earning

To answer your questions about the amount of BOS that is being generated; there are basically three ways in which new BOS is generated, but first we need to know that a block is confirmed approximately every 5 seconds. So roughly 720 blocks are confirmed in an hour, or 17,280 blocks in a day. Now we can start calculating how much BOS will be generated per day.

1. Freezing rewards
5,400 BOS are generated every 720 blocks (= 1 hour).
5,400 BOS * 24 hours = 129,600 BOS per day.
Freezing rewards diminish with 5% each 6,311,520 blocks (= 1 year). The rewards end after 372,379,680 blocks (= 59 years).

2. Confirmation rewards
18 BOS are generated every block (= 5 seconds).
18 BOS * 720 blocks (= 1 hour) * 24 hours = 311,040 BOS per day.
Confirmation rewards diminish with 6.31% each 6,311,520 blocks (= 1 year). The rewards end after 807,874,560 blocks (= 128 years).

3. Commons budget growth
50 BOS are generated every block (= 5 seconds).
50 BOS * 720 blocks (= 1 hour) * 24 hours = 864,000 BOS per day.
Commons budget growth ends after 37,869,120 blocks (= 6 years).

This means that 1,304,640 BOS will be generated on a daily basis during the first year. When the years pass, less and less BOS will be generated because of the diminishing factors and because of generation end dates.

Keep in mind that the biggest part of those generated BOS is locked up in the commons budget. The rest of the generated BOS are divided over all stake holders (= people who freeze at least 10,000 BOS and people who run a node (= freeze at least 40,000 BOS)). More information can be found in the white paper.

so over 1.3m tokens minted on a daily bases, I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing?  Would this not inflate the price?

I'm not an expert in such calculations, but one thing I can say for sure is that there is an obvious logical lining. How can I buy a node for 40,000 BOS and receive a daily income of 1304640 BOS? You think logically!?  Grin

Where in the world did you get that number from?  The best I could get is 45000 for a node in a YEAR.  Still the waiting for the price to drop a bit more so I can buy a node on the cheap Wink

Confirmation rewards will also depend on how many transactions are done on network if transaction volume is low the tokens minted will also be low. The freezing rewards will also depend on how many units are frozen on network. The more units you hold the more rewards you will get. 1 unit =10,000 boscoins.

The price is at ico price of 2500 sat now and good for anyone looking to setup master node for daily passive income.

The only concern is the 864,000 common budget growth which is too high per day.Any chances for this to come down?

Only 440,640 BOS out of those 1.3 million will be distributed to all stakeholders, the rest is locked up into the commons budget account.

Others have been concerned about inflation as well, but I don't expect it to cause any. The biggest part of the growth in the first years is due to the commons budget which will grow to a total of 1.8 billion BOS by 2023. The biggest part of the BOS within commons budget, however, won’t be in circulation and can only be accessed through accepted proposals within the congress. The main role of the commons budget is expedite the growth of the coin users during the early stages.

After 2023 the commons budget won’t grow anymore and the inflation rate will naturally flatten out. There are also yearly decrease rates for the rewards (5% for freezing rewards and 6.31% for confirmation rewards). In 2023 there will be a supply of about 3.3 billion BOS, but it will take another 122 years to reach the maximum supply of 5 billion.

A lot of BOS will probably remain frozen because it’s a great incentive to run a node receive (more) rewards. The commons budget will mainly be used to fund projects and DApps built on top of the BOScoin platform, not only allowing the ecosystem to grow in the early stages, but also providing a stable ground for future initiatives on the platform.

1,304,640 BOS will be generated on a daily basis across the entire network, it still has to be distributed to all stakeholders. No one is ever going to receive 1.3 million BOS a day.

Feel free to try out my calculator to see how many BOS you could earn a day. You can change the default assumptions and see how your rewards change.
