I believe in different superstitions about gambling and I think it's better to play in the clothes in which there was once a big win or to have some talisman to attract luck.

its possible too. especially the Chinese they tend to wear something that they believe could attract luck and make them luckier in whatever they do.. maybe chinese gamblers are also practicing this until now.

This could really work, or just because of our luck we will win our games. In my place, people will sit one place and play card games that place is their lucky place. Few friends are there they will win most of the times if they in that place. So they prefer only that place to play card games. Like that in your condition, the dress code also helps people to win money in gambling. This looks funny, but it works. 

You would really say that thing works if luck is on your side together the same time on doing your beliefs which you would say that you will do such thing on another day on playing gambling. I will bet that you will still lose up even if you are on the lucky position which you strongly believe. This beliefs might somehow boost up self confidence but the fact on increasing chances of winning is really impossible.

It doesn't have anything to do with you winning or having luck at your side but it does have a positive effect on a person's thinking. That perhaps is already luck for someone. Being able to believe that a chant or amulet or certain routine will improve your chances, it makes gambling quite a bit more fun.

yeah fun , people just don't think about how superstition make the game become so fun more than when you didn't use any superstition things. they just care about how to win , win and win . and it's sounds like an addict right? calm down yourself and think freshly . gamble in massive way won't earn you good things.

I think you can have your enjoyment when your friends are around, but when you are alone, you will just be getting depression and addiction. Most of the gamblers that plays with their friends tend to gamble for fun or experience, most of the gamblers that play online or offline alone play for profit, but unluckily, they always lose their mone.

I would say it would be just the same on which in the end addiction would really still come into oneself together with your friend to whom you are with on playing gambling. Lets say its enjoyable but you wont realize that gambling is gradually  eating you up to go on addiction.The same story on playing alone and with be on your friends but the thing that is good on having friends is that you can share up your sad times or frustrations or depression to your friends which is good to ease that feeling.

Absolutely! Gambling is something highly destructive in nature. The worst thing about gambling is that it makes you addicted to betting on your money even if you are losing continuously. Whether you play alone or with friends, it negativity does not decreases. I will suggest him to quit gambling as soon as possible.

It's just that as long as we're not stepping on somebody, it will be fine. Gambling is okay, just not too much that you forget your responsibilities and don't rely on superstitions.

ideally people should treat gambling with that way, but in the real situation people don't care anymore about having fun , and focus on how to recover what they have lost (if lose of course) and keep playing to earn more (if won it) human nature would takeover yourself . with superstition in your game you have fun actually at first time , just how you finished things up.

So its still superstition? Well black coffee to stay awake and maybe the seating position you are referring to? Of course we can't really wear the same clothes every time we play, most probably the color like red. But for me I still think that superstitions believed will not change the outcome of the game. Its still based on luck and not amount of believed or shaman will not influence the result of every game.

Right, even if I grow up in a country where superstitions are normal and is being applied always, I do not think that it will affect the game. Lucky shirts, lucky numbers, lucky spots and etc. I don’t believe in that because there are gambling games being played using analysis and strategies which will depend on the knowledge of the player with the game.

i think very little people have the well to stop gambling at all. and specially if they are making money there. i also think that those people who have become addicted to gambling they also find it hard to stop playing gambling. they want to continue gambling and make more and more money as they can. but i think very little number of people can become so lucky to make money from there.

As in a quote a mate stated gambling in relevance to superstitious belief is fun filled. To feel the fun its good to play along with the group of friends, rather than just wearing a specific coloured dress or something similar to that. Even though I am not a typical gambler who gamble everyday I see to it that when I play I only play in specific time I don't know why but I noticed that if I play in that exact time I usually win and when I don't I lose. Now I use that pattern if I find time to gamble.

People would definitely mold up their own superstition belief when they do tried up new things while they are playing. Come to think of it, even though we don't have solid proofs that superstition does anything really, what if it does? What if people believe in superstition because they've proven it multiple times before? I don't also believe in it but i'm keeping an open mind now for those kind of things
