People.are only superstition with gambling because it's the only way they believe they will win when really it's just about pure luck. There is nothing anyone can do to win but it doesn't hurt to try and if you have a special lucky coin or necklace I say wear it !! As long as it makes you feel good. It's not so much about whether it's true or not but more about belief.

Superstition is based on their beliefs and there culture.And I considered that superstition is working sometimes like lucky charm that give you a good mood.

I did not understand a word you said! What do you mean by what you just posted here? I have not heard of this definition of superstition. Superstition in my understanding is the belief in something that will cause an event to happen. Dictionary.com defines it as " a widely held but unjustified belief in supernatural causation leading to certain consequences of an action or event, or a practice based on such a belief."

I respect all gamblers that has their very own belief and opinion. It's good to see that there are gamblers that are becoming lucky and believes that is because of their superstition belief. I don't have any against them, as long they are experiencing good result with it and it helps them to have good amount of winning, that's fine.

I respect all gamblers that has their very own belief and opinion. It's good to see that there are gamblers that are becoming lucky and believes that is because of their superstition belief. How long users might experience a winning, they should realize it's just because of their luck or with the statistics they make on the respective​event. If superstition is the winning provider then one should never loss in gambling which is not at all a possible one.

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino.
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

Almost gambler have many superstition like they don't want to a viewer in their side.  But i don't believe in that, if someone gamble if he/she luck they win but person lack of luck they do not win because gambling is depend on the luck of a player.

Gambling is indeed gives us an advantage, and also things that always make us fortunately is yourself. So what you say is very true, a gambling career depends on those who do. Gambling comes from the moral conditions and self control, if they have good self control then the profits will most likely you've always got. Confidence, feeling of invincibility, feeling you are not gonna lose call it want ever you want. But sometimes it bring positive impact to you as what @emberbekas say. So if you have nothing to lose, then maybe you should try to believe. Whether it is carrying a lucky charm or performing some sort of ritual before or during their gambling sessions, players will try a variety of things to influence lady luck to smile on them. But me, It's all about time and timing and the luck of the game.

On the other hand, having confidence could also have a bad effect on your gambling, there's such a thing as being over-confident.
That's where the danger lies in having these superstitions, I'm sure people have lost a lot of mney by being over-confident due to having certain superstitions.

Theres no connection between superstition and gambling because it do really matter on your luck. Some may have rituals and do believe on this stuff but for me its still useless at all because no matter how you do or you make rituals on the entire day if your luck isnt there it would be really useless at all.

I think its called gamblers fallacy not superstition, superstition is something else. Fallacy is something you think would help you in a good way if you do it, whereas superstition is something you believe you shouldn’t do otherwise something bad may happen.

But different culture people might be having different interpretation here. Overall following supertition just a way of enabling our factor come into effect. I do not know how effective it will be. But we do see many people are believing in to this and following it.

Anything related to money has superstition too playing a major part. If it's sports, many people believe that if they don't watch the match, their favorite team (the one they have bet on) will win and in casinos, even today people believe in lady luck. It's just a myth and gambling is itself a game based on luck which is again a superstition. There's nothing like a lucky thing or an unlucky thing.

I don't believe in anything being lucky or unlucky as it's just a risk involved that plays a role in gambling. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  It's just a strategy that works.

May i know what is you lucky charm . when i am wagging a bet in sports i might have a bad day and if so i usually take a good break and come back at it later and usually i used to recover my loss in the coming week and it is not because of any superstition but it does take some time to analyze things and if my mind is not clear i might not doing the calculations correctly and so is the reason i take a break to clear my mind.

You way to win is to avoid being superstitious, there is a chance you can win in sports betting since it's a game where no house edge.
