anyone else having issues with neoscrypt today? Every time the miner switches to this algo, the miner windows just crashes/disappears. Never saw this prior to this morning...

I'm trying out the MrPlus fork of NemosMiner on Zpool right now. It's still doing the benchmarking so not much to report, but I will note that I had to make numerous edits to the bat and cmd files to get it to work because of incorrect file name references.

As I lamented in my first post to this thread, some kind of brief explanation of how to set things up and what each cmd/ps1/bat file does would be immensely useful and provide some necessary transparency; PowerShell scripts can do all sorts of damage if used maliciously or incompetently, after all.

UPDATE - holy shitsnacks, this stupid script is still benchmarking after 2 hours and 20 minutes with the default selection of algos!?! At least I am getting credit for all of this on Zpool, though some of the algos are exceptionally unprofitable.

Testing ahashpool vs blazepool, current profit .bats (not 24hr actual) with a 5% switch and 30s interval, each with a 6 x 1070 rig, they are overclocked the same, 75%/100/500, but have slightly different hash rates due to different models in each, but fairly close. I had to disable keccak on blazepool bc it kept showing the profit as orders of magnitude off.

Currently about a day into the test, the btc/24hr is approximately the following:
blazepool - 0.0018384
ahashpool - 0.0015329

So currently blazepool is winning by about 20% 1 day in. I'll try to keep going for at least a few days. Hopefully the rigs stay online the same, I've had occasional trouble with them hanging up every once in a while, can't figure out why, which would skew the results.

Question.... What does this do---> -Passwordcurrency BTC

It's very important that the value specified there match the address given elsewhere. E.g. - if you use a bitcoin address then make sure -Passwordcurrency is set to BTC.

I'm using mining pool hub, so does it still need a BTC address or can I omit both?

I've used NemosMiner with MPH and here is the relevant portion from my modified bat file:

-Currency USD -Passwordcurrency BTC -interval 120 -Username MagicSmoker -Workername eleusis1 -Location US -ActiveMinerGainPct 5 -PoolName miningpoolhub

This worked for me, but as for whether every single bit is necessary, I don't know.

Okay looks good to me, my I ask why "-ActiveMinerGainPct 5"?

This is a FORK off NEMOSMINER and is OFF TOPIC.  Mr Plus should start a new thread

On the Github MrPlus and Nemosminer start work together, now they are both are contributors of thit project

https://github.com/MrPlusGH?tab=repositories

That just shows MrPlus has forked Nemosminer.

You can fork any public Github project but it doesn't necessarily mean you're contributing to the original project. https://help.github.com/articles/fork-a-repo/

If MrPlus made a pull request and Nemos merged it with the upstream repo then they'd be co-operating. But MrPlus could equally choose to cherry pick improvements as they see fit or branch away entirely. And vice versa. Interesting times.

Just comment out those algos, they're not going near the top any time soon (/ever)

Yeah, I definitely want to prune the algo list, but with just 3 left to go (the same 3 from 1 hour ago...) I feel like I might as well let it continue; of course, I thought that an hour ago, too.

However, I really want to know how to change a lot - if not all - of the scripting variables because I can absolutely assure MrPlus that I will not endure another 14+ hours and counting of benchmarking.

UPDATE - I just noticed that benchmarking is stuck on the timetravel algo so I decided to click on the miner window and this is what it is reporting:

Code:
[2018-02-10 20:05:40] Starting on stratum+tcp://:
[2018-02-10 20:05:40] NVAPI GPU monitoring enabled.
[2018-02-10 20:05:40] 1 miner thread started, using 'timetravel' algorithm.
[2018-02-10 20:05:41] API open locally in full access mode on port 4068
[2018-02-10 20:05:41] Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to  port 80: Connection refused
[2018-02-10 20:05:41] ...retry after 30 seconds

Repeat, ad nauseum...

Clearly I need to not test timetravel, but I would hate to have to do benchmarking all over again if I stop it now to remove it from the list of algos... Any suggestions for those more experienced with NemosMiner would be appreciated!

If you remove timetravel and restart, it should skip the ones already benchmarked.

Thanks for the reply. I already stopped the benchmarking and switched the card over to mining Verge for a day or two while I sort out what went wrong. Based on the copy-n-paste of the miner window output above it looks like the connection wasn't set up properly (ie - the stratum and port). Unfortunately, I didn't check the miner window at any other time so can't say if this is anomalous or not...
