What's the best time to put yourself in ahashpool since I've seen people putting -interval 900 says increase earnings is true so, anyone done that experience?

not needed with this version just leave intervals default

if you want less switching increase -ActiveMinerGainPct 3

-ActiveMinerGainPct (percent of advantage that active miner has over candidates in term of profit (default 3%)   this is new to v2.4

Best Regards
Nemo

-Currency USD
Is GBP OK?

-Location US
UK, EU, Europe, europe Huh

Having connection issues connecting to coinbase getting exchange rates, so though I'd check first.

currently testing ver2.4 and can instantly see that reported active time of every algorithm is wrong. says 16s for each 240?sec benchmark. also "exited" time is wrong. edit: benchmarking stopped on phi as it did not have any stratum specified in it command line. sorry but this 2.4 ver should be labeled as alpha at best Smiley back to 2.3c beta.

hi nemosminers,

Few days ago I reported about my 6 x gtx 1070 rig crashing and not being stable. I then started with adding and testing with 1 gpu, 2 gpu's, 3 gpus and found that as soon as I add a 4th gpu CPU usage increases a lot and having lower hash-rates then with 3 gpus. During benchmarking it will crash. It doesn't matter which of the 3 remaining gpus I add on any remaining pci slot. Result seems same. I'm using a g3900 CPU and 4gb ram. Could this be the bottleneck?

At home i'm running the same motherboard (msi z270 sli plus) with 6 1080ti's with G4400 cpu and 8gb ram now running fine with currently 5 active gpu's. I actually found that on that motherboard 1 pci slot is corrupt. Will test with m2 adapter tonight to see if it will run with 6 Smiley

If your cpu usage is going up, check event viewer system log for PCI-E communication errors, could be a bad riser

Hey millsys, thank you for your reply. I have tested with 3 different gpu's having each their own riser. Chance that all 3 are bad is small but will have a look at it Smiley

Had same issue, ALL RISERS WERE BAD!!!  Seriously, I've RMAd over 18 risers already.   I've had rigs seem stable for 6 cards, then move those same 6 cards into a 12 card setup and the problem rears its ugly head because you now have 12 cards screaming PCI-E errors instead of just 6 and the system starts to grind to a halt.  Replaced risers with new $6 ebay ones and problem disappeared immediately (cpu usage, event viewer errors, stability).  Ebay auction 302483050496 is the only ones I trust now, have ordered over 100 from this source and they have been rock solid.  Cheap too, saved a few bucks sending back overpriced/bad ones to Amazon/NewEgg after replacement.

Hey millsys, all thought Windows didn't show any pci-e errors I found that while I was running with only 3 cards, 1 of the remaining cards that was not running actually felt really hot and when trying to start mining on it would not work. Had to reboot and found that with that specific card cpu usage increased alot. Replaced the riser and cpu usage lowered to just +-12% instead of 60%+. Now running again with 6 cards to see how it goes, dont want to make any conclusions yet but seems those damn riser caused the issues after all... Will keep the CPU and RAM I have ordered for my next RIG I guess Smiley. Thanks again for responding, if it keeps running coming days without crashes will send you some hugs as well Wink

Fantastic!!

FARM #1 : 60 GPUs spread across 6 rigs (1080ti/1080/1070ti/1070)
FARM #2 : 72 GPUs spread across 12 rigs (1070ti x 6)
FARM #3 : 16 GPUs spread across 4 rigs (1080ti x 4)

As for phi, it worked fine for me

@nemos Dev: did we have to do a new benchmark with the new version or can we copy the stats folder to the new version folder?

thanks i know about the "reported active" showing higher results... i will fix that doesn't effect profit or hashing...

im not getting that phi error at all on my rigs... phi is benching and running great..  what pool were you trying?

active time is for yourself like for example i get up in the morning and i can see for how long which algo has been running Smiley talking about phi maybe it isn't working as supposed on hashrefinery only. i always benchmark using hashrefinery as it reaches peak hashrate much faster than ahashpool.

Thanks paskevic.
And yes I was only using ahash

Is it Ok to copy over the hashrates/benchmarks to several identical machines, I'm assuming it will be.

If everything is identical, I don't see why not.  Especially if you already know performance is exactly the same across the board.

For your earlier question of re-using the old version stats, probably not a good idea.  Different versions of miners, also some miners may have been dropped, maybe name was changed, etc.

It may get you out of the benchmarking hole quicker, but it may not be accurate.

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

There is something very wrong with this miner, since it always shows from 32 to 42 US $ day, but in fact what comes in is less than 20 US $ because it gets so low as it actually says there? I think there could be a difference but not so much. Please can anyone tell me why?  Undecided Undecided Undecided Shocked Shocked

nothing is wrong...

that is because your using startahashpool.bat (uses current estimate and 24hr estimate API too request profit) ...

try the startahashpool24hr.bat (uses last 24hour Actual API too request profit) i made it for this exact reason i did not like the estimates that MuiltipoolMiner,Sniifdog etc use

P.S v2.4.1 is being tested at the moment has been through 6x10603gb rig is currently running/testing on the 6x1080ti rig if all goes well it will be released 2nite...

v2.4.1
update: ccminerAlexis78
faster hashrate for: lyra2v2,skein,blake2s,keccak,lbry,nist,phi,veltor

OK, but the estimates could not be half that, since as I said the estimates are always between $ 32 to $ 42, I think at least I should give $ 25 to $ 27 do you agree? But it's giving 20 and sometimes less.
