The Gratis Chips...
1. We should all vote on it.
I personally think it is best if we as a group spread these chips directly to developers with promising DIY open source designs.
What do others think?
I agree, although I'm betting some of the developers have group buys themselves where they will be getting dev chips. |

Looks like I'm going to be buying another user's 12.8 chips. I would really like to end up with 20 chips for a 20 chip unit though - I know it's a long shot but is there anyone in this thread that wants to sell 8 chips worth of their share? edit: for that matter I'd love to buy someone's 18 or 28 chips, and would pay a bit extra for interest  confirmed. I think we should wait for an update from Avalon about the test chips to make a decision - just to see how many we are getting and whatnot before we decide anything. I say this fully expecting not to get any (only ordered 26 and I don't need to test with just 1).  |

+1. BkkCoins should definitely get a few, at the very least. BKKcoins is getting all of Steamboats... but yes if we get our chips first it be great he gets some as well. But again I think we need to VOTE on this. Ragin we need to have this resolved. I have 540+ chips on order I'd love to say that those with larger orders should get some of those freebee chips but I don't think that is fair. We all should get 1 vote and then have those freebee chips sent to developers. We need to make a list of viable options including Ragin for his developers. But we got to do this now the freebees ship in 2 or 3 weeks right? |

Great Idea Asics miner develelopment in custom hardware section. This would make things a lot easier all round. |
