^^ true that, but short term analysis says that the short term coins were spent. huge volume came on that third wave. we were even treated to a fifth wave of panic. the bears are exhausted. The nubs have sold.

Like I said in windjc's thread, I don't see exhaustion. I do see an upwards correction as likely from here, but looking at volume and momentum, I do not see exhaustion. I don't see divergence to indicate it.

On the other hand, 4 days ago, I saw clear signs of buyer exhaustion. Once that bearish divergence was in, all signs pointed to a perfect short opportunity.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I cant do the chart much justice with my software.

note that the fourth wave was a contracting wedge, a big final stand off betwen bulls and bears. liquidity dried up before panic set in and the crowd went into panic.

Like MAbc says, this may just be an ABC correction, but strategically speaking it is a solid buy opportunity because it suggests days of consolidation, while it is possible that a primary wave has unfolded on Bitstamp off the lows.

I maintain that sentiment is very dark at the moment and I suspect too many people have sold looking for 'cheeep' coins.

the fractals are very clear on a smaller scale, wave three is three clear waves within its self, validating that 465 is a significant point.

If however 465 is broken violently with momentum, this might suggest that we are undergoing a third wave down of one higher order (or a C wave down). This would be big, but I do not expect that because we are already bearish, and the time scale that this news could effect would not be so big.

I maintain that I am holding from 475.

These bears aren't charging. They're wandering in and getting picked off like zombies at an NRA ralley. The problems is we don't know how many of them are out there.

@chessnut

Thanks, i agree with all your points. The only thing that worries me is the fact of the small bid depth. I also doubt that we will see another real bull trend in the next 2-3 months.
But the charts indeed look like we should see a nice upward correction at least.

Imagine you were selling bitcoin futures contracts. What would someone have to pay you now in return for your bitcoin a year from now?

These coins are going up and you know it. You just don't know how much they're going to go down first.

Inspirational Buy All the Bitcoins Speech

Sons of the internet, I am AdamStgBit, and I see a whole army of my countrymen here in defiance of closed source centralized systems, you've come here to buy and sell on the free market, and a free men you are ( expect for Jorge, sadly...). What will you do without FREEDOM!?? WILL YOU BUY!?

"No! No! we will sell and/or hope for lower prices, if not, least we'll have some fiat, to pay the bills"

Ya ok, buy now and you might lose, sell now and you'll have some fiat to pay the bills.

At least a while...

And drowning in debt many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that, for once chance, just one chance! to come back here and tell the bankers that they may take our mortgage payment directly out of our accounts without asking, and even take the house after taking all our money, but they'll never take our BITCOINS!!!

Moved all my coins to a paper wallet, put the wallet in my safe, made wifey promise to not give me the key until 2 months has passed.
I´m out of fiat on Bitstamp and got no one else stupid enough to borrow me money... so this is it, it has been a honor gentlemen.

If we sink, i go down with the ship!

I think the term 'cheap coins' TERA is referring to is used by cult sellers anticipating much cheaper prices, rather than how I might use the use the phrase, these coins are cheap.

the sentiment is, sell now and buy back some 'cheap coins' when the apocalypse comes.

I believe the worst is over.

The bottom is likely in, but that doesn't mean support won't be tested. I just wonder how long it will take for it to dawn on the people who already panic sold that there is about as much evidence of a China-wide ban as there is evidence that an elderly model train enthusiast with broken English wrote the Satoshi white paper.

I say the coins are cheap when its lower than my avg. buy in price.
