I'm tired of being approached by ignorant statists and told that we Bitcoin enthusiasts are only using our revolutionary currency for buying CP.
Help me scientifically refute this myth by participating in this [grantedly, rather informal] study.  It's real short, a single question:

1. Would you still own Bitcoin if there was a simpler way to satisfy your child pr0n needs?

  a)I'd rather not say
  b)No
  c)Hell no!
  d)Definitely not, stop being stupid

Thanks.
Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

CNN Money Adds Bitcoin Ticker (XBT)

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/19341/cnn-money-adds-bitcoin-ticker-xbt/

Wow, such ticker, much pump, hasnt it been enough of pump and dump based on coinbase hype? There might be some pump and dump before a pre auction major dump but i doubt its gonna touch even 255$. Reversal will happen only after that auction, no sane man will go long before it ends.

This has nothing to do with a pump ore dump, dont you realize how important this ticker is at CNN?

Many Sixpacks will be seeing this, it increases awarness.

Its good for btc's future, but it wont affect current price cos market is clearly preparing pre auction dump.

"The sudden shutdown of CAVIRTEX, in particular, has caught much of Canada’s bitcoin ecosystem by surprise, the notice following on the heels of the decision by the province of Quebec to require licensing for bitcoin trading platforms, a move that further thrust regulation in the country into uncertainty."--http://www.coindesk.com/canada-bitcoin-exchange-leader-market-turmoil/

Prices want to break 250.  People are getting scared due to previous dumps.  Easily 275 before dumping on monday if people don't shit themselves.

And by doing so (evading taxes) they turn it into a self-fulfilling prophecy: no tax income, ineffective state mechanisms, inequality, etc.
Maybe I'm generalizing too much over "all Greek people I've talked to", but it seems to be a recurrent theme: the fatalism.

You do, but it's alright. You're probably talking to the wrong Greeks; yeah, there are quite many, I presume. That's why the country ended up in this mess. Angry

Yes, I'm careful not to generalize from the average to the individual (as in: before I get a chance to hear what someone is like individually).

Still, I got the impression that, as a bigger phenomenon, it's at least part of the reason the country isn't doing well. There are others of course (German/Nordic stubbornness/inflexibility being one of them, I'll admit as well).

http://observer.com/2015/02/bitcoin-crime-wave-breaks-out-in-nyc/

Looooo Cheesy

"A New York City firefighter named Dwayne Richards was recently held up, stabbed and robbed by thieves who were after his bitcoin, the Observer has learned. From what we’ve discovered, Mr. Richards—who is a firefighter in lower Manhattan—was mugged and left bleeding after meeting the robbers under the pretense of exchanging bitcoin for cash in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He’s alive, well, and refusing comment."

Whales dumping on the enthusiastic kids that bought bitcoin because of the CNN news. I love it!
You must have absolutely no idea what is going on.
I feel bad for you missing out on cheap coins. It is best you close your short position now. The bearshow is over. I hope you enjoyed it.

How is it that bulls haven't yet figured out that they're allowed to live just long enough to get fatted & slaughtered?
I mean, sure, they have  pretty much the shittiest brain-to-body-weight ratio of all mammals, but still...
