Strange, yet attractive.

looks like gold vs USD spot

basically spot gold price in USD vs USD relative to world's currencies

I hate those charts because the scales are always manipulated into confirmation bias.

Here's a far better chart:

IMHO, down we go. Next stop ~$700.

I was about to say that Gold did worse than BTC, then I looked at the scale.

There's still time until $279... Don't worry. Yeah; one can only hope. Smiley

Weak day for trading. Still pretty confident $270 won't give. CNY being below (most) USD exchanges is the only thing slightly interesting.

Yeah have been watching whoever it is flashing the 300 BTC wall on the sell side pushing it down, press it down then takes it off the books... interesting to say the least. Shitty that a few people with tons of cash can set market price like it is right now.

What site are you checking from, or are you checking directly on finex?

Both bitcoinity.org and bitcoincharts.com went down for me. Strangely bitcoinity.org went down right before the dump. Maybe it got overloaded when too many people simultaneously viewed it to watch the dump.

Edit

bitcoinity.org came back on for me. Now I can see the big dump.

Yeah, seems like they're creating a pennant that may take us sideways a little longer.

No real buying pressure so no need to wall it up and risk it. Im sure if there was a hard push up right now that wall be coming back.

I didn't see that dump coming.

Hope we can recover a couple dollars before 8 pm eastern so the daily candle doesn't look too ugly.

Looks to me more like he got tired of waiting for his ask to be met and did a market sell.
