Even the daily speculation section activity is drying up. Must be up to something soon.

I must be honest and say hodling Bitcoin has always been a kind of gamble as it could drop drastically or it could go to the moon.

But yes, it is boring now. I did enjoy the price swings even though it's been mostly down!!

After the winter gets started in earnest the price might become more volatile. In the summer everyone's too busy going on holiday to bother with Bitcoin. Once it gets colder and everyone's stuck indoors at night more people might start taking more of an interest in trading. That could push the volume up and produce bigger price swings like in January last year when it was too cold to go out.

Bitfinex went from 4 times the volume of Bitstamp half a year ago via 1.5 times two months ago, to a half of Bitstamp's volume the past month and a quarter the past week. Is BFX dying?

Well, I'm worried about the effect the new Circle stance on bitcoin will be...It's harder to buy BTC with USD now, but why would Circle do that to us???

Not a great deal to speculate on any more. I think people are waiting for happenings in the far future now.

They're pushing a stabilised dollar balance rather than a BTC one, but it is an opt in type of thing. They also seem to have restricted how many coins people can withdraw per week in certain cases.

Ah. Thanks. Did not know that. I have some coins there. Might just have to move them. I liked the simple way of buying coins a bit more expensive than the exchanges... But if they are a loose canon on deck...
